New timeline guidance for custom orders?
But given the health crisis, and both Germany and Alabama plants shutting down for several weeks, anyone care to shed some light/speculate when (if??) I'll actually see this car??
Thanks all, stay safe!

Your existing orders will stay in place - in queue - everything on order now will stay inline until produced..
These last few days of March will give you the biggest selection to search - and ANY dealer will be eager to work with you to get one more New Mercedes sold !
This goes for ALL Mercedes models - ALL Mercedes models production has stopped last week - except GLB in Mexico which is still in production as of today (likely to close soon for lack of parts).
There are a "good number" of GLS450's in each Region - on the GLS450's "assume" what you see listed at a dealer is "most likely" available to buy.
There are a "few" GLS580's too - but on GLS580's you uncover at a particular dealer - when you call don't get disappointed if that specific GLS580 is pre-ordered and in for a existing customer. Always call after locating a candidate - which especially these last few days of March - phone-in will give you the most rapid response from ANY dealer.
The 2020 GLS450 and GLE580 allocated dealer production slots are in-queue thru end-August - ALL these will be built as 2020's - and once factories are back on-line - ALL 2020's have to be finished BEFORE 2021 can start production.
In auto manufacturing systems it's not possible to change a existing 2020 order to a 2021.
Happy hunting !
