Prepaid Maintenance

Did you all opt for any prepaid maintenance plan? Wondering what everyone's thoughts are. Is it worth it? Thank you all for your advice.

Of course. It cuts about a third or more of your maintenance costs.

Could you elaborate further on this?
I am looking at this option as well with my purchase. I honestly do not know the schedule for Services A and B and I don't recall how often I had to do it with my previous E-class.
Thanks in advance.

My dealer actually told me that it wasn't worth it but he did not elaborate and I appreciate his honesty.

I opted for the pre-paid plan based on the normal cost over the course of maintenance and the % discount .

Could you provide me with the financial figures and logic on how you made this decisioin?
I am genuinely curious, because based on my back of the envelope calculation, it is awash.

I don't have the specific numbers handy but it was estimated to be 30-40% off of the A & B services iff you pre-pay based on the standard costs of those services (700 or 1k are numbers that ring a bell).

No more MB:(
It really depends on the dealer. I actually called my service guy while I was closing on a vehicle once and after getting the numbers from him I passed. Also remember if you are financing you will be paying interest on it. Ask someone at the service department at the dealer you will be using for service. Don't take the word of the sales or closing dept.
