MBUSA Website Updated
Looks like the Mercedes-Benz website has been updated with the 2021 GLS build information. It still appears to be a work in progress as the build options don't match the DOG and my specific 2021 GLS450 build.

Awaiting a 2021 GLS580

That’s encouraging. I’ve been checking daily and this morning still showed 2020. Hopefully the 580 will be up soon.

You don't think they would make the 2021 GLS450 without the optional "Driver Assistance Package PLUS"? It shows on my build I submitted a couple of months ago and the DOG, but doesn't give you that option when doing the online build for 2021. I assume they just haven't completed the online build options yet. At least I hope....

Here’s my understanding:
MBUSA site is NOT the official build site. I think it’s just a way for customers to interact with dealers about what they want. The fact that the 580 isn’t up yet suggests they are in the process of updating the site. I’ve also seen things come and go as they ‘fix’ the site. It’s never been perfect, there’s usually discrepancies.
The DOG is a guide for dealers, not meant for customers. It also usually has errors and/or can get out of date.
NETSTAR at the dealer is the OFFICIAL ordering tool. So you sit with your dealer and with the online learnings you got from going thru the MBUSA build, talk thru what you want and don’t want. IMHO, you’d have the dealer lead you as there could be options and combinations that don’t show up on MBUSA.
My NETSTAR order didn’t/doesn’t have final pricing. I’m guessing if they are starting to update MBUSA that the pricing is now set.

Thank you Cincy8 for the clarification. I have the NETSTAR order, with PO number and details. As you mentioned, no pricing as of yet. I'm still hoping for the build late October and delivery mid-November...

Updated DOG?
MBUSA BYO also only offers black Tex and no 6 seat configuration on the 450, in addition to deletion of E-ABC. There are a few more quirks that don’t match the DOG I have, but would love to see the most recent to make sure. I remain unhappy with MB’s limitations on customization.

LOL, of course MBUSA is the official build site. Who do you think put it up? The problem is that the dealer, web developer and the actual product planners are not on the same page and/or are in poor communication with each other.

I guess it depends on what you mean by official. The factory builds cars off NETSTAR, not MBUSA. Details about about build config are there, and not necessarily MBUSA. I wish it was more accurate and up to date, but its a marketing tool, not production.

I received my pricing from the dealer today. I wish they could speed it up. I have a squeaky belt idler roller and need rear brakes on my 2010 ML350. Obviously, I don't want to put any money into my ML...
