Lemon title not worth it?

Getting concerned about my BTO 450 and possible delay, now looking at other on lot options, including a manufacture buyback (Lemon). Not really worth it, taking a hit both with insurance and resale?

I'd stay away from a Lemon law car. Even if it was for something simple, it will always cause questions and problems when you go to sell or trade it in.

Don't do it. It could be an expensive and time consuming can of worms.

A gaggle of MB's
You can't trust any car dealer that is selling Lemon Buyback cars - and so you know that shows Permanently on the Vehicle Title.

If a Buy Back car is the "right price" then it get's snapped up by Exporter's to 3rd World Countries - or bought by a US Ex-Pat to ship to him at his off-shore abode.

Any Buy Back car offered for Retail Sale here - the ONLY reason for that is because that Buy Back Car is "priced high" (as compared to "right price") - and that Dealer is looking to make a Killing - at your Expense.

The only way anyone should even consider this is if they give you an insane discount. I'm talking over 70%. At that point it is almost a disposable purchase.

I don't even understand the people who buy used when they only get a 10% discount.

Some people look at cars as appliances, and discounts mean value.
Others like cars for other things and are willing to pay to own them.
I sold my last two cars for 10X the original MSRP - and the new owners were darned happy to pay a "non-discount."

Yes, its only about a 15% discount, so really not worth the anxiety.
