I got a replacement GLS last week from a GLS I originally purchased in September, both are 2025's. It's a long story and doesn't need to be told here.
Anyway I had originally purchased the Dashcam back in October and was setting it up on my replacement GLS last week with the dealer.
Before we completed the purchase the tech had to do some digging to make sure it was available on the car. I'm not 100% sure of how he did this as he performed it so quickly, but I think he just entered a destination into the GPS and saw the augmented reality pop-up. .
After confirming and while we were waiting for the download he told me that at this point in time they could still not confirm prior to being in the car if the augmented reality was an available option which of course is required for the dashcam.
You may get the MBUX 549 retrofitted, including full screen map display in kombi, and AR camera retrofit kit, and wireless full screen apple CarPlay and Extra Maybach Cruise Diamond Driving mode
