My new 2022 GLS 450 is on the way!!
I ordered my new 2022 GLS 450 in September not knowing when I would eventually get it. I just heard from the dealer yesterday that the vehicle is built and moving to the vehicle processing center for final inspection then will be arranging transport to the dealership. He thinks it could be here by the end of the month, unless the holidays interfere with scheduling. Regardless, it's built and incoming. I could not be more excited! I put every option available on this ride - Cirrus Silver Metallic with Espresso Brown/Black Leather interior and AMG package. I sold my Audi Q5 right before Thanksgiving so I've been limping along with one vehicle between my wife and I and I've felt stranded without my own vehicle. I have a few road trips planned with my GLS so can't wait!!! Pictures coming.......

2021 GLS450
congrats! we've had ours since may and have put close to 14k miles on it with just a couple of minor issues (some driver side trim is creaking and dashcam operation was intermittent). all have been/will be resolved by the dealership. it's be an absolute joy owning this car. believe it or not, it's more fuel efficient than my Q5 3.0T, on the highway and even more so around town! i still love the Q5 tho - it's been a rock solid car over the last 8 years!

Good to hear you are getting better gas mileage than your Q5. That's what I am replacing with the new GLS. I had the 2018 Q5 Prestige but I found the seats to be way too stiff and uncomfortable, especially on longer trips although I did get very good mileage with it. I also felt the cockpit was a bit small on the Q5 but compared to the GLS, most everything would feel smaller.

the GLS is considerably more comfortable than the Q5, esp on long trips, but that should be a surprise to no one. you'll also appreciate the additional cargo space. with a 3yo and another on the way next month, the Q5 just wasn't gonna cut it in terms of space, and driving around with the thule box mounted 24/7 wasn't gonna be the solution.

2022 GLS 450
It finally arrived!
Well, my 2022 GLS450 with AMG Line arrived on January 6th! So far, I am totally in love with it. I've owned a boatload of vehicles and this now sits at the top behind my VW Touareg Diesel and BMW 740il. The AMG Wheel package is SWEET!!!

GLS 450
Mine came in yesterday and is GLS 450. I am in Australia. Can you help me with a question. There is a post around engine sound. Can you check if yours is similar or more refined. I am adding links for both, the thread and my post. My guess it it will be more smoother if I run it on sports or sports+ mode. But I will check it in morning.

I have mine in for PPF installation and ceramic coating but I will check the sound when I pick it up and let you know - I only have 166 miles on the vehicle but I don't recall it sounding like yours.
