Anyone in Northeast interested getting 2022 GLS450 next week?
I had a GLS450 on order with sticker price with a dealership in CT back in September with a target delivery in January. In December i saw a GLS on dealership's lot i bought it off the lot. And the CT dealership just emailed me today and told me the car has arrived.
This GLS has all the options i wanted and I negotiated sticker price for it.
The car is on the dealership lot right now and can be picked up next week. I did have a deposit on the car and I think the dealership should be more than happy to refund me given they can sell the car quickly in today's market. However, i wanted to see if anyone may be interested in this.
Message me for more info. Its 7 seater configuration and metalic blue exterior. Tow hitch, pano roof, illuminated sideboard, heated steering wheel, 2nd row airbag, heated 2nd row seat, power sunshade are the options. Sticker price is about 84k before tax and fees.

I am afraid that the dealership will not allow anyone else other than you to have that price. They will swiftly apply a $10k market adjustment to the next in line. You probably will get your deposit without a problem. I am afraid that you don't hold any cards here other than getting your deposit back. Probably no one will get lucky of what you are trying to offer here. That is how I got my 2022 and I was the guy "next in line" to eat up the market adjustment but I am happy with the vehicle.
Not sure your dealer might be different but they won't allow a transfer of deposit nowadays.

It's impossible to get discounts. Don't bother the chip shortage is still going. Look forward to paying an additional $10,000 on MSRP for a new car and I believe on used cars too. The dealership inventory had around 40 cars as the MB sales rep took me to view the cars. Normally they have around ~400 before COVID started. In addition, you'll be paying a luxury tax too.
