Folks - I have been watching few videos on youtube and noticed a MBUX rear tablet in a 7 seat configurations. I am wondering if this is a standard accessory or require some sort of package and if they even offering with 2022 model. Appreciate if anyone can provide some insight.

Not sure but I think it comes with Executive Rear Seat Package or might be called Rear Comfort Package Plus or maybe they are two different things.

In the US, it’s part of one of two packages called “executive rear seat package” and “executive rear seat plus package”. The former adds comfort headrests and the bigger center console with wireless charging and the tablet. The latter adds heated and ventilated rear seats (heated seats are available as a stand-alone with the former) and lumbar/massage rear seats. HOWEVER it is not currently available in the US. Both packages were available on the 2020 450 but due to low demand dropped for 2021. The 2021 63, which started production before the 450 and 580 switched over, offered both as well as some other things like the energizing comfort that were dropped for other 2021s, but the 580 dropped the non plus package. For 2022, the 580 and 63 were both going to offer the executive rear seat package plus but both fit dropped from the lineup for 2022. From what I’ve heard, they’ll be available in limited quantities for FEB orders, MAY builds, and SEPT deliveries, but it won’t be available at all on the 450.
