How quiet is the GLS compare to the S-Class

I'll get my hands on the EQB relatively soon and I'll be sure to share my thoughts on both once I have the chance.

in terms of wind noise, and this applies to all vehicles - clay bar and detail the car, especially the windshield. When you clay bar the car and put on whatever wax or ceramic costing that you like, the wind noise reduces dramatically as the car slips through the air. On our GLS that has Michelins but not MB specific, it’s still a very quiet vehicle at highway speeds. I have no complaints. But sound is really in the ears of the owner. What might bother you, may not bother me at all.

I have owned 5 S class and three GLSs. The S class is far quieter due to extensive rubber seals and double paned glass.

however, the front drivers door has a small squeak which is driving me mad. I have tried removing everything in the storage area in the door but It doesn’t help. Only the driver door. Go figure. Build quality on this car seems dodgy at best. For example - If you press the trim around drivers door to close the door you can feel the flex such that you wouldn’t want to press on that to close the door. If you press the the interior door trim, you can feel the flex. Going to take it in to have that door looked at.
I also have a 1986 190E and the build quality in that seems better than here. But that car is def more noisy!
