Hi,

I got a new 2022 GLS and one thing that bumps me is the lack of good Apple CarPlay integration, mainly for playing online music from Spotify. I saw some videos online and got a data plan for my SUV but I still don't see online music in the Mercedes Me options. I see the TuneIn radio but that no online music.

Is there is option that I can get it added?

Online Music is not offered in the US.

Ah! Thanks Eaton. Now, I don't know why I paid $240 for one full year of data services. Any use of it other than online music? We don't need mobile hotspot as all of us have data plans on our phone.

Another thing Mercedes may or may not eventually get around to. Spotify native app works on S Class. Amazon music works in some parts of the world. But still waiting in the US....

Wondering what the issues are with Carplay though? That should work fine (other than the fact it doesn't fill up the screen).

Two problem with CarPlay, first it is wired so every time I need to plug it in. Second it only work with on USB port, if it worked on USB port in the box under armrest I would have installed a wireless CarPlay dongle.
