It's a $119,870 car. If you really want it then pull the trigger, $90k for a Certified Pre-Owned GLS 580 is going to be drawing them attention from across the country.

Having just bought a 21 GLS 450 I negotiated on several 20 and 21 over the last few months. Deals are getting better, but it seems to be different dealer to dealer. Some recognize the marketing is softening and are willing to negotiate to get things done, others won't budge at all because they are used the last couple years, and some will negotiate, but not much. How long the vehicle has been in inventory certainly is a factor. Make an offer you are serious about and be willing to walk away. The most movement I got was when I would try to get to a deal, they wouldn't move enough and I would tell them thanks, but I'll pass. Suddenly they call back hours or days later with a better price. Each dealer will be different so just give it a try. Know what it is worth to you before negotiating.

That's a nice GLS. I don't think much of anything's changed since 2020 and if it did, it was most likely removing features. One good detailing and you'll have what will essentially feel like a new car, with a similar warranty.

Be happy I'm in MN. Has the towing package and everything I need. I think it costs about $1,000 or so to have a car hauler get it here. Tempted but I'm not in have to have mode yet and will try to hold off until September to check out 2024 info or look for a certified.

Pretty car, no doubt aboit that! The 580 is a bit of a unicorn given the V8 fiasco with MB vis supply chain issues that i think are easing. Keep that in mind. Most are plenty happy with the 450 set up as well.
only thing I see that would give me pause are those rims and tires. Pretty to look at, but would not want to hit too many potholes with them. You can expect a few trips to the rim shop to fix a bent rim. You also may want to check out tire prices for that rim size too before you make up your mind. Those are the AMG rims found on the AMG version, of which are known to eat the rear tires inside of 10k miles on a regular basis. Basically it means new tires every oil change. These are quite heavy vehicles, a 35/40 series tire isn’t going to be very forgiving to the rim or your wallet in a real world setting.
I have a neighbor with the AMG GLS with those wheels, and they love everything about the car except those wheels. Complains all the time about how much of a hassle they are to live with. I introduced him to my rim repair guy that I use for my old E350 with the amd 18” inch wheels. He has owned his GLS for about 18 months and has been to the repair shop probably 4 times already for repairs. They’re very wealthy, but hates the inconvenience of having to replace the tires every year as well. He failed our state safety inspection with just 8,500 miles on the car because of the tires.
