Thinking about a new 2023 GLS 450

I currently have a 2021 S580 with about 7k miles on it. Bought it new. Love the car has just about every option except, HUD.
I had HUD in my last 2 cars and didn't use it, seems to be a love hate relationship with HUD, just not for me. My question is everyone
happy with there GLS 450? Seems like lots of complaints on the S580 forum. I've had a couple of issues, one being a low battery
on the second day I had it. It might have been because it was not charged properly when sitting at the port. Three trips to the dealership
before they replaced it. Also I recently bought a 2023 GLA 250 and love it. Forgot how much enjoyable a SUV could be. We used to have
a diesel Porsche Cayenne wish I never traded it, but I did. Was getting 35 mpg driving back and forth from Florida to Massachusetts.

Have not driven an GLS 450, but lots of good reviews. So thoughts? Good idea bad idea? What options are a must have?
