Agreed, have loved my lunar blue. I am ok with Twilight, although I don't like it as much. I have stubbornly refused to upgrade my GL simply because i hated the interior colors, so i'm happy there's a warm caramel option now. Near-white was not good; funny, Volvo went that direction also but has now re-introduced their darker tan interior too.
I think wood is a must for this class of vehicles but that is just me.

I think lunar blue is just the blue equivalent of emerald green :-D

I think lunar blue (cavansite blue in other countries) is a very elegant MB colour, not as showy as spectral blue or brilliant blue for example. I think MB discontinued lunar blue to bring back nautical blue which apparently is a colour name MB used for a long time, longer than lunar.

Do you mind posting a picture of each? I am having a hard time distinguishing the three colours based on a google search, I must be blind.
Capri & Azure are both metallic while midnight is not. Midnight is still a special order color on several high end models, like the G.
Capri...If the sun hits it, it can look purple. Midnight..this is just plain dark blue, so true, my wife calls it "God's color"... Azure...it was just "off"...
My sales guy called today and told me that he finally had an allocation for a 23. Already told him that I wanted the 24 now (want to see that Gray with Night package), but he couldn't give me a date for when order books open, so tried to steer me to the current MY. I've only waited 7 months, what harm is another 5 or 6. Our GL can hold on a little longer...

Interesting, so massage seats and leather will become a WAY more common feature being the excluisve trim, and the pinnacle is similar to the GLE. Looks like there will only be one wheel option for non AMG Line cars, 21 inches, and all AMG Line cars will have the spoorty AMG steering wheel unless they have the piano flowing lines wood and wood steering wheel. Nice to see high end audio an option here. Also this marks the return of U38 nappa dashboards and door trim, though no mention of the MB-Tex version EDIT I just missed it it''s also an option, still that means U38 is back, and even on 450s! Exciting! Also the return of the exclusive trim (wood trim with ambient lighting on the back of the front seats).
Also, the 23s are now all black, unlike the wheels shown on launch cars which were the same ones as the current 23s. I'm not a fan of black wheels, so a little disapointed.
