The Maybach looks much improved as it dropped the glitzy chrome up front. I don't know why the sensor in the press photos is black though when the real car has the radar that blends into the grill? Perhaps a US vs EU design regulation?

I like the Maybach better then the pre facelift, not sure about the AMG Line GLS, front end reminds me of the short lived X Class (not a positive). Interestingly, the press photos show the high end audio, I wonder how that will work. Maybe it's just the speakers on every regular 810 Burmester system or maybe it's just incorrect pre production stuff. I'll also be curious to see if the GLS580 keeps things like e-abc, exectuive rear seats, etc.

@js_cls I see what you're saying, but I believe that's just incorrect renders. i wouldn't look into it much. There's no way they wouldn't put the Maybach grill design over the radar.

Can't wait to see an order guide to see new standard features and options, all wheel choices, and what the non AMG line looks like! As always, press release only shows top spec models.

Does anyone know when the order guide will be released? I just got an allocation for a 2023 in June and car to be delivered in July. I am thinking of switching to the 2024. Any ideas on when can one be ordered?

As far as I heard production of 2023 will end in late June to early July and restarted for production for 2024 in September, I don't know how accurate that information is though.

2020 GLS450 (wife) / 2024 Ford Bronco (mine) / 2014 VW Tiquan (son)
So basically a new front bumper and some nee colors? It looks nice! But not worth buying if you already have one.

i know I'm in the minority by saying this, but I actually like the black plastic fender moldings more than the color matched version. I wouldn't turn down a GLS because of it though, but like the “truck” aspect more than the “sport” aspect.

Definitely not a fan of the Twilight Blue Metallic color (its on the EQS already). Looks like denim in my opinion. Why they dropped the Lunar Blue is a head scratcher, when they’re going to offer Twilight instead. We have Lunar, and wanted it the moment we saw a C class drive by with it.

I am just glad they didn't mess with the headlight, although the design is I guess to some people is boring but from a distance you know it is a GLS because of the three strips of LED. The facelift V167 GLE's headlights however, not so much.

I think Lunar blue (Cavansite blue in other countries) are being replaced with Nautical Blue. I believe both colours were not really new colours in terms of name, MB used to have these colours on their older generations way back.

Alpine grey looks good. Thoughts? I currently have the diamond white selected but thinking if I can change from 2023 to 2024 then I will change from the white to the grey.

I also like Selenite Grey across multiple models of MB, Selenite Grey magno is also very nice on the AMGs. Then there is also Graphite.

Alpine Gray is nice, but personally I think the GLS looks fantastic in Diamond White, especially with the metallic shimmer.

Can never go wrong with Emerald Green. It pairs well in both Chrome and Night Package cars. Not enough new cars are offered in green in my opinion, I think its also decently popular for the GLE.

I loved Lunar Blue, not sure why it (or Nautical Blue) is not an option anymore. Twilight Blue will be interesting, it looks great on the EQS SUV so I imagine it will look great here too. Cirrus Silver is another great choice, and for those who are bold Cardinal Red looks very good despite how big the GLS is. Honestly the GLS has a pretty good color selection for a vehicle of this class and size, but I imagine 95% of them will be optioned in monochromatic shades despite not being a shade of the German rainbow

I miss Emerald Green too : ( it was super limited on last gen C-Class for example now it is nowhere to be found on the new C.

The colours you also mentioned are my options too, except red I guess but that is just me I guess it is too bright for me but that is just me.

Agreed, have loved my lunar blue. I am ok with Twilight, although I don't like it as much. I have stubbornly refused to upgrade my GL simply because i hated the interior colors, so i'm happy there's a warm caramel option now. Near-white was not good; funny, Volvo went that direction also but has now re-introduced their darker tan interior too.
