HVAC drain tube
Anyone have a clue where the friggin' HVAC evap drain tube is located on this car? I have of Kool-It evap coil cleaner I would like to use on it (just did my E350 for the year, simple). Tried the same technique on the GLS (pull the interior cabin filter and fish the tube to the evap coil through the housing) but had 0% and made a mess. Tried through the floor vent on the driver's side as well, still 0%. Can't see where the piping is behind the center dash to feed it down that way either. So, it's basically up the drain tube from underneath the car. However, it's a mystery where the damn thing is. Even my shop couldn't find it last week when they tried. Anyone have a schematic that would show it? I don't have WIS for this car.
Thanks!

Interesting that the shop couldn’t find it. I just got a recall notice on my 2020 GLS to have the tube inspected and potentially replaced. Apparently they were misrouted in some cases and that can cause a water backup into the cabin which can then affect some important electrical components. So, you should ask the shop to look up the recall, because there must be some instructions for them on how to find and inspect the AC drain tube.

Guess I'm about to make a trip to the dealer, item now added to the list of issues to get fixed (seats due).

Thanks for posting, but that is for the GLC, smaller SUV and a 2.0t engine.
