I'm guessing it's going to be the same or similar to the one you provided here:

i'm just unsure if my transfer case has Torque-on-Demand and if my rear axle is LSD or open differential. I have the datacard for my vehicle, but I don't see any mention of these things.

Thanks!
To my knowledge all *167 4MATIC without Off Road Engineering have the same torque-on-demand transfer case. If you do not have an AMG or Off Road Engineering you likely do not have LSD.

Please post your datasheet.

I am not aware of a VIN decoder which gives a list of option codes for 2020 and later MB models.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate the help. I’m not sure if I have off road engineering, but there is an “off road” dynamic mode that I can choose. That might be standard for all though, not sure. Attached is my datacard.

We all have "Off Road", which basically does nothing but raise the car and holds the lower gears longer. But if you have "Off Road+", then you'll have the full off road package, including lower gearing options. This would certainly change up the transfer case and differential, triggering a different bracket for the fluids from the normal. Basically, if you don't have an AMG, or "Off Road+", you're in the normal/regular bucket for the fluids.

On mine, I am adding in an additive once it arrives. Liqui Moly MoS2 in the transfer case and rear differential. Link below. Why? Because I have a humming sound when doing parking lot U turns in mine. I had it when we changed the fluid 50k miles ago, and have it again now. So going to give it a try. It's German and I've seen some posts on here of folks asking why the dealership is adding in stuff like this for their services too. I think it may be the rear brakes, but can't be sure. I'm doing the brakes soon and will be able to tell then.

My AMG53 with Dynamic Plus Package has the torque vectoring limited slip diff. Fluid change at 50k miles.

AMG's run on different more enhanced fluids to handle the extra power and limited slip clutches in the differential. The regular GLS 450 only has limited slip in the transfer case, not in the differentials.

I think there is a GLC 9G trans oil diy video on YouTube. 9G is 9G, doesn’t matter the car if it is not an AMG MCT or whatever marketing name is used.

This is a more recent video and the guy does a good job early in the video explaining the multi-position drain plug/standpipe.

Another good one, I think this a MB tech training video.

If I were you I'd call the dealer parts department and ask them to put a differential fluid change kit together for you. Then ask them what it includes and go from there.

Probably a good idea, because then it will be then VIN-correct.
Sometimes they will price match.
