For most ECE cars, it is available if your light is Multibeam version (SA642 or SA641).
For USA, there is only SA640, and SA608(IHC, High Beam Assist).

so if you want to know whether your car can be coded the ILS+ or IHC+, basically check you have code 640 and 608, if yes, then can do coding to turn 628 on.

if you have 631/632 and 608, then no way to code 628, as the light hardware has not such feature.

For digital light: if your car has code 316+608, then can do ILS+ / IHC+.

cheers!
Thank you Elebest. For US cars with code 640, can you clarify these items will be activated or not with your programming and which of these are already activated in the US?

From the UK manual pages 153-157:
  1. Active headlamps
  2. Cornering light
  3. Roundabout and junction function
  4. Highway or motorway mode
  5. Off-road Lighting
  6. Enhanced fog light function
  7. Bad weather light
  8. City lighting
  9. Adaptive highbeam assist
  10. Adaptive highbeam assist plus

I believe all will be working, unless the headlights has some hardware differences. I did not get chance to test all of them in USA road, but from my customer feedback, no complaints so far.

2024 GLS 580. Formerly 2015 GL 550, 2003 S430.
This is indeed very interesting, but what are the implications of coding when it comes to the factory warranty on the vehicle?

Everyone who got this done, can you please link the coding device you bought? I was told openport 2.0 but am unsure of which to buy for our gls580. TIA

I did as well but I am certain my cornering lights while turning/curves are not activated. Are yours?

fair concern and good diligence - yes all cornering lights and previous functionality remains and works, all updates by RJ Automotive were additive to exiting functionality. tbh its a no brainer - without it you have multi thousand dollar headlights configured like a mazda (which has cornering lights - and i like mazdas btw).

Sorry just to clarify, you can see your lights follow curves as you turn? My RJ programming does not so maybe I need to contact him. He also said he doesn't do the increased brightness for US because they might flicker but he said he'll do it for me and see. This is a learning experience for me and possibly for others that not all ILS programming is the same. Just an FYI for everyone reading about this until I get it figured out further. At least the most important aspect is programmed which is the partial highbeam assist to not dazzle specific cars in front of you. But I want the best or nothing so if RJ might not be providing the full suite then who is?
