Phantom Collision Notification

Anybody get one of these? Pulled out of the garage last week and as I was backing out got this message. Car had not had an impact of any sort. Very weird!!!

You could check w/family members to see if there might have been an inadvertent impact to the front of the car while in the garage (golf bag, fencing gear, etc.).

C450, GLS 63 and a few other things
Because of the date and time on the message, I think that's a totally bogus message. Wonder if there was an update or something that messed with things.

An electronic glitch is par for the course w/this generation of X167. I haven't seen a bug-free GLS yet!

Thanks for the responses. Definitely a glitch as i used the car last and was also the first to use it in the morning before anyone else was up. Car is headed to the dealership tomorrow to address the recall on the fuel pump delivery module. I will be bringing this to their attention.

just took delivery this past week. It’s a known issue. They were testing this message. They said if it doesn’t clear, may have to be reset. Annoying, but nothing to worry about. Has not disabled anything.

That's a likely scenario.
Also check your Mercedes me app for clues.

I had a similar notice, albeit for the left side of the car with a valid date and time. There was no damage to the car, but I was on a ferry, and I bet that the motion of the car on the boat confused the sensors. I was curious why the tail lights were on as I approached the car, figured that was why.
