Augmented Reality
I have a 2022 GLS 450 and it doesn’t’ have the Augmented Reality Navigation system. Is it possible to get that added to the existing navigation system? If so, how do you go about it b/c when I asked the dealership they said it couldn’t be done. Thanks!

It leverages the dashcam - do you have that option?

Rjautomotive provides AR camera retrofit. You also need the high end MBUX head unit (and if you don't have it, they say they can also provide that).

I just came back from the dealership. Turns out the SDS wasn't connected, and it was in need of software updates and Calibration. Apparently, the Previous owner didn't take to to Mercedes for services. $300 bucks later, all works as it should. Sometimes, you have to just Bite the bullet. Oh and BTW, it does use the dashcam under the mirror. I can see my hood in the screen.

i was talking to the guys at MBHouse based out of Toronto and they told me they can do the Augmented Navigation retrofit by adding the camera and through programming. It looks like they can do it without having to upgrade to 549 or change the windshield. Anyone try them out yet?
