Stuck 2nd Row Captains Seat

Got a 2020 GLS450 with a 2nd rows captains chair behind the drivers side that’s stuck down. The two red releases won’t release it, neither will the electronic controls. Trying to fold it more doesn’t help. I was hoping to take off the side plastic panels to get to the seat mechanisms, but am not quite sure how they come off. Google search wasn’t helpful, although it seems like this is a common problem.

Anybody have any advice on the seat or in removing the plastic panels in the picture?

Thanks in advance!

I 100% read that thread already, did you? Not to be snarky, but it has zero advice on fixing the seat other than bringing it to the dealer. And zero information on taking the panels off.

I've read it. It had some tips, like if you pulled the red tab, it could possibly get jambed up when setting it back into place and making sure it is fully clicked back into place. Had I known you read it, I wouldn't have posted it. Just trying to help you out.
