Check engine
I have a check engine light on (amber/yellow).
I have not noticed any issues with the car.
I tried contacting MB dealers but they are all super busy (long wait).
Is there a way to get some info about the problem from dashboard or phone apps?
The car has cell connection service … why can’t MB or me customer get info remotely about the issue ?
I am planning a 1300 miles drive and would prefer to know before hand if this is something that might show up as bigger problem when doing that amount of miles.
TIA

I already tried an auto parts store, they are also booked.
That is why I started wandering if it was possible to find out about the issue from the dashboard.

I haven't seen any recommendations recently from forum members as to which ones are the most cost effective for Mercedes these days.
Do you have any insight?
I'm sure others can chime in!

Personally I sent them back and got a full Xentry system put together to use but it's likely overkill for most people.
