shame on me for not even trying to do #6 either so my own fault. Next time I’ll just do it myself as it’s apparent it’s easier than it was let on to be.

The point I was trying to make is how expensive shops are compared to the actual work being done. If a shade tree mechanic (me) can do 1-5 in under an hour in what world does it make sense that a professional charges an hour and a half for 1 ? There isn’t one.

Your typical shade tree mechanic doesn't count those activities, even though he does them. Add perhaps a week to get parts in the mail.
