Jerky Downshifting when stopping

Need to get them to try that standstill adaptation. This is important.
in the real world... they behave like they should...
day to day... stop and go traffic.... they are fine.... so light applications are good....
driving in city speed... between 25-40mph ... they brakes work fine..... the applications for slowing down is fine..
so emergency they are fine.... light they are fine... and moderate they are fine.... this car is to heavy to only have 2 piston callipper...
like i said before... i donnot know... what adaptations they are doing...
and they dont call them adaptatiions... nor have they mentioned that this 9A is adaptive...
Im dissapointed in this car
i own a 2020 bmw x6 xdrive 40i msport... a beauty in every sense of the word... and that ZF 8Hp transmission... is a delight.... shift super fast... responds super fast... and you dont feel anything..

But for now... they are only doing updates and recalibrations... its been 15 days... since they have the car....

The tranmission does not jerk on emergency stops... as i can recall... but i have not done an emergency stop recently nor during the test drives...
the jerk comes while slowing down.... it does not need the brakes.... by it self... once it needs to droop a gear... from 4th to 3rd... it jerks... now after the 2 recallibrations... its better... but still perceptible....
the one that does not have any better outcome.... is asking the car power..... from fifth to 3rth.... then you can feel the clunk and the jerk,....
no soundss like metal to metal

Regarding your transmission, it sounds defective, maybe debris in a valve body.
I second the possibility of a valve body issue although I still think it is worth trying the adaptation first. They probably won't pull the transmission off without having an error code stored so that is another annoying part. Thing about these computers is, they don't always know if itself is broken or something is actually wrong.
Good luck

In practice, I don't think it's any different from the previous method that required two technicians, but they had to drive around to do it.
Thus the "stand still" moniker.

cars running fine for now.

This is the report they gave me in spanish...it only had 6k miles on the clock at the time being.
