Is microfiber cut roof top worth it?
Hello,
I am configuring my new Gls450 and I was wondering if adding a black microfiber cut roof top is worth it? Is it that much of a difference to regular black top? Does it cover the columns also? Didn’t find pictures of it so any of them will be appreciated.

It does extend to the pillars. Up to you if it's worth it. My opinion:
1 - It is really nice and luxurious
2 - I spend very little timing looking at the roof of my car, so even thought it is nice....

Personally I really like it in my car. It does make it feel a little more finished. While I don't look at the roof specifically, I notice it and think it looks nice. In fact, I just found a company that makes microfiber self-adhesive pieces to cover the ugly yellow sun visor warning labels. I just got them and they match great.

As far as the sunshade fabric, at least in my car, its just the regular sunshade, its not covered in the same material.

It looks black when you are just looking at it. When you shine a bright light on it (or perhaps in bright sunlight, you can notice that it is not quite as black as the other interior panels. I don't think it is supposed to be gray, but it seems to have a hint of gray in it. To be honest, I didn't even really notice it until I took the pictures 00 and now when I double checked, in my dark garage it looks black, but shining a work light on it, it definitely is a bit different than the black and I notice the contrast like the pictures.

Just yesterday my wife told me to close the roof since she felt there was too much light. Problem was everything was closed!
