Trailer Maneuvering Assist
We have a 2024 GLS 450 which we will use to tow our Travel Trailer. and I added trailer maneuvering assist. I have not been able to find any manuals on how to use it. All I have seen is a couple of
videos showing how easy it is to use. Well when I start it up, it wants me to drive forward a little bit and turn right and left to learn the trailer. Well I have tried that and the message won't go away. Has any
one seen a manual with more details on what to do? All I have found is adds that say nothing but how easy it is.

What did you have to do to learn your trailer. Did you just go forward and make gentle turns to the right and the left? I get a prompt that says turn to the right and it never goes away.

I went to the neighborhood cul-de-sac and did a full clockwise circle then counterclockwise circle which satisfied the system. Make sure to define the trailer in the system.

prompt disappeared after the necessary maneuvers were made...it was not a difficult process but the vehicle needed to see the full articulation of the trailer. I am going to use it again this week so I will report if the system actually remembers any previous trailers.

Is the Trailer Maneuvering Assist available on a 2022 GLS 450 with a factory hitch? I have never seen it anywhere in MBUX but would love to give it a try if it is available.
