OBD Scanner Tools Compatible w/ X167?

I browsed a few newer Autel scanners on Amazon, and one of them (the AL519) was flagged as not compatible with the GLS.
Curious if any members have any (inexpensive <$100) tools they can recommend that appear compatible with the X167/GLS? I'm just looking to scan and retrieve codes, perhaps cancel them, but not do any serious "reprogramming" of the GLS.

I got the lifetime membership ($575 now) which gets you access to him for tech support which has been absolutely outstanding and I paid about another $500 for the computer and interface cables. So about $1k all in (when I got it). It is a little pricey, but it gives you access to a full blown Xentry/WIS toolset which was about $45k the last time I looked. The fact that you have access to BenzNinja personally was the best part unless you are already an experienced Xentry user. Can't recommend it enough and no I am not affiliated or paid by BenzNinja, just a happy customer. Hope this helps.

For reference, I paid $306 to RJ Automotive for the interface and ILS coding, plus $72 for three additional codings. Track Pace, the mystery Energizing Comfort package, Race Pace. So $375 for everything I can think of.
I bought a Launch CReader MB diagnostic device with lifetime MB updates. I used it when I had a series of temporary system failures, but after I read the codes I turned it over to the shop, who diagnosed a head unit failure and warranted it. I consulted with the shop about the codes/failures and I'm glad I did. One and done. I don't do coding, just like I don't do Registry repairs on my PC, unless I have trusted step by step instructions.

I think in 2024 they made a MB version with lifetime updates - other brands were available but had to be bought one year at a time as an add-on.
Mine's a 2025 LAUNCH Creader Elite V2.0 For Benz that became available 9/24.

I haven't used it in a while; I'm not an expert, but I'm impressed with it's diagnostics. It ID'd my car and all option packages, found the associated faults I was experiencing, and helped me talk with my tech and service manager. That's what I wanted it for.
I'll have see if there's updates for new models.

Extensive. Landscape vs portrait. Different prompts and menus. It's like an entirely different operating system.
I used V1 for a while, and when V2 arrived (kept V1 for a week after getting V2) it took a while to find some functions, but once I got the hang of it I thought the newer one was more informative. It's definitely speedier at a full diagnosis.
The screen seemed to have better resolution, but it could have been the landscape view that was better.
I think coding would have been easier because faults are linked to the "action" page.
Since I'm such a novice and didn't change any codes, I can't report on that part of its performance.

Well, not everyone is like you. Some people can read and understand for themselves. Because of the voucher that credits the full amount of membership toward mods, membership is effectively free.

I need your help to explain this math. Please help the underprivileged.

I got three times the coding you did for 1/3 the price.
I'll take that bargain.

Fully agree. These guys are awesome. RJ is a highly professional vendor and sponsor who has never been banned here or engaged in fights on the forum. Not sure about physical location.
Max from @EleBest is the best too and he has worked on all of my cars and has the best pricing, no scamming tactics, no subscriptions, an no equipment at all (a cable and fully remote service)... and he is an honest business owner with solid history. I am yet to see him every engaged in any fights or bad acting. He has a physical location and business location that is very well known also on youtube. Never been banned and has positive reputation on the forum.
