The paid version or bigger sized version which has annual update fee , after the free 2 years update, now is on V50.47 which can do MB cars up to 2024....DAMN !!!!!!!
Jetta last commununication with Launch, supposedly V50.45 will be ours by July 2025
I do not remember the update history number jump, I know it is not say V50.35 to V50.36, its a few number jump.
I think Lauch will never allow us with this Baby Launch free lifetime update, to get MB version as good as those paid updates of multi-brand capable Launch like say the US$500 Creader 919E .... I think Launch wont be that stupid.
Below is Creader 919E, wired and not BlueTooth yet. Bought in 2023, my friend's.
Physical size of 7" screen of the Launch vs my Samsung tablet of 10.5" or so in protection casing.
Back on 13th July 2023 it got V50.16 MB software as latest to be updated.
I can't remember Baby Launch MB software number at the same point in time but on 1st Feb 2023 ( 4+ months earlier ), baby launch was still at V49.95 as latest for update

If there is any update to baby Launch say this year and it is not equal to the paid update version number at that point in time, that meant Launch is on purpose not giving us a true up-to-date MB SOFTWARE UPDATE.

Basically the scanner has to connect to MB Server even for scanning, that is what I understood, please someone correct me if I am wrong.
My Creader scanner is at V50.36 as well. There was an update some time ago but not related to the main software. My Xentry passthrough is the 2020 something version last updated 2~3 years ago. I keep that computer offline to avoid any updates. Since I only use them on my 2015 W212 they both work. When I get a newer one this will probably be an issue...
I don't know how it can be done with baby Launch not being an android or IOS common tablet, but I managed to get the lastest and greatest Mercedes software from Xtool, as per its website.

At first my AX30M Xtool wont download or even recognize there is a newer software for MB .
I was stuck at V23.53 see below, no red UPDATE arrow , while their website is already showing V23.80
I contacted them via email and they reply fast, as always they reply within 24 hours, that is one thing I like about Xtool.
So they requested for my unit Serial Number. I gave them.
They checked and found nothing wrong.
Then they suggested me to download the Apps direct from their website, as their version in Google Play or IOS is not always the latest version.
So I downloaded the Apps direct from their website, and only then I can get the latest MB software which can do W214 E-class, I use E class as reference.

Today I checked my baby Launch and it is still at V50.45, not yet the latest V50.47 as per their website
I am not satisfied till Launch is being honest with us and give us solution.
I will contact the person JettaRed been in contact with, let see whats happening.
