FS: paddle shifters
I have two sets of paddle shifters for sell.
Part number is: A 171 267 00 46
If you are comfortable with dremel, you can follow this LINK and do a DIY to fit this onto ur AMG models which already have button shifters.
Important: you CANNOT purchase the buttons alone without ordering the entire steering wheel from dealer. So do this at your own risks.
The first set were bought about few months ago as i wanted to convert the buttons on my C55 to paddles. Later, I found out I had to use dremel, and I have never used one before, so i gave up. I only tested them to see if they work or not, after that they're sitting in my room for months. This set is practically brand new.
The second set are brand new, still bubble wrapped.
I'm willing to let these go at price below dealer's. PM me with offers and the set you'd like. Best offer takes it. PAYPAL ONLY unless you're local.
(Buyer pays for shipping. Items will be sent 1 to 3 days after i receive the payment depending on my schedule. I'm located in Vancouver B.C.)

They will not.
These will only work on the AMG models which already have shifting feature on the steering wheel.

If your car has the button shifters that can can do both upshift & downshift on either side, i.e. on R-class, S-class etc., THESE WILL WORK.
A member had requested me to test these on my R350. I tried, and it worked.
However, instead of having both upshift and downshift for the buttons on the either sides, with these paddles, you only get upshift at the right side and downshift at the left side.
BUT
Same as the button shifters on AMG models, the holders for the paddles and the buttons are physically different. You have to dremel your steering wheel to make it fit.
Further more, the shape of the plugs are different. The ones on the paddles are fatter than the ones on R350, however the actual connecting pins are exactly the same.
How I tested if the paddles were working was, I put metal wires into the holes on the plug of the paddle shifters, then I attached the wires to the connector pins on the steering wheel, and it turned out to be working fine.
So in order to get these paddles to work, you need to dremel your steering wheel, as well as doing some mod to the plugs. I think you can jsut swap the plug heads.
Here are 2 photos to show the difference of the plugs and the holders, and a video of the working paddle. (I only recorded the up-shift paddle. Its hard to hold and attach wires to the pins, and hold a camera and the same time)
