2007 Shifter Knob (With Keyless GO)
Keyless GO Shift knob and Boot from a 2007 CLK AMG conv. I imported a CLK AMG conv. from the USA into Canada. I had to change the shift knob because it says Start / Stop. Rather than the international symbols. I know, don't get me started on that one. It is Black and is in like new condition!, no wear marks. Car had about 2,000 miles on it when it was removed. Replacement cost me $325.00. Great opportunity to replace a worn knob with a like new one.
200$
Flat shipping of $20.00 to Canada and the Continental USA.

Will this enable me to have pushbutton start on my SLK55? Or would it just make people think I have push button start since it requires more modifications to work?

requires more than just screwing on the knob to have push button start...its gotta be wired to your ignition to start (no pun intended) and im sure many other $$$$$ items taht are required

Sorry, this will not give you the keyless go option or a start button
with only this part.![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
3 options:
1- you can install a start button with this shifter + aftermaket wires...
2- Shifter can be show/ no go. (install shifter but button won't work)
3- replace your old keyless go shifter with the brand new model![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Thanks for looking

2/ Doesnt work. A "show only" install on a non-Keyless Go shifter makes the button pop out. Needs to have the Keyless Go shifter.

If you look at this gear knob there are no wires in it,,if you want keyless go then the whole package must be retro fitted, and thats expensive as the module is £800 plus fitting and you will need 2 new keys or cards depending on the year of the car, before 2003 it is cards and after this keys

installing a keyless go shift knob in a non-kg shifter assy will damage the shift knob. There are 2 pins that slide into the shift rod on kg cars. non-kg cars do not have the 2 pin socket on the clk and you will either make the button pop out or crush the 2 pins making the knob useless.

Sorry no suede, leather only
About the non keyless go... I have the shifter in my hands
and don't see any pin and nothing in the hole.
Maybe the pins are deep in it but that's what I see.
It's a 2007 maybe the inside of this shifter changed
from the other years... don't know
anyway, the sale is still on
