I have been buying lately.

Long, mostly financials

UYG,GE,MSK,MSJ,CPST.

GE at 6 was to low to pass on...50 billion in cash.
UYG at 1.80 JPMORGAN top holding, this etf has huge upside.

Good stuff. WIN, JPM, MSFT, for myself. I will look into a few of those you posted.

I did get some SIRI at .5-.10 cents, and waited till it went back up to sell just for kicks.

I hate JPM. They contributed heavily to this financial mess and the mess during depression. They deserve a slow death!

I understand where you are coming from, but it is time to stop whining, scratch up what you can and make some real money son.

ok, i max out my roth each month but i just got my tax return back - should i invest in any stocks right now or put the money somewhere safe for a down payment on a house? prices are really low for companies like GE, B of A, Citi. my theory (which could be wrong) is they may get a little lower but these giants are not going to go under, so eventually they will go higher even if its a few years from now - is this flawed thinking??

what would you do with about 3-5k if you were in my shoes? I'm 26, have low debt to income, stable job, and ideally i want to be owning a house within 1-2 years.

also what sites are the best/cheapest for trading?

I would put that cash in Financials for sure (UYG), the timing is perfect for you... no risk, no gain.

I have used Scottrade guys for years, 7 bucks a pop and good execution and support if needed.

I sold my position in UYG @ 5.46 for a 46k profit and then purchased about 70k of C > Citigroup which I think will double by Christmas and 25K of BAC > Bofa...I also like WFC (Buffet has been buying that too).

I also sold my GE Position around 14 for about a 10k profit

ddrx = play of the century (look at 1 yr. chart)

stj - in at 28.03 - still holding

wfc in @ 13.94 - still holding

f in @ $2.38 out at 9.56

dndn - in at 17 and change out at 33.45

gdx - in at 37 out at 49

Look into wamuq, wampq, wamkq, wahuq. These are no ordinary bk stocks. America's financial future depends on Wamu bk Case. These literally changed my life. I got in over yr and a half ago with just few thousand $ now my portfolio is reaching 6 figures. I got in when everyone was getting out. Even my wife thought I was crazy but I didn't care. Alway do you own DD and don't rely on my post to influence your investment decision.
