Cannabis & Hemp stocks

Anybody investing in medical or recreational marijuana based stocks? Don't laugh. I used to joke about how easy it was to get a medical pot card in LA when I lived out there. If you had headaches, backaches, bunions or herpes, you might qualify. Mind you, I make my living with my mind and did not desire to fog it with cannabis. However, two years ago, I had a back injury and was undergoing 9 weeks of intense chiropractic therapy. It hurt so bad, I had to stop the car twice on my commute home every day. I did not want to go down the route of oxycodone and the hillbilly heroine epidemic so I began to research oral & topical CBD oil treatments. I have found it to be amazing and 50 state legal. Helps with back pains and arthritis in my knees, and hands. No visible side effects and I understand that the versions laced with THC are even more viable. Can still pass a tox screen with the 50 state CBD too. It made a believer out of me. I have started investing in a few tech stocks who have products based on hemp, CBD or Marijuana. Some of the stocks I like are:

MJNA - Medical Marijuana Inc. Owner of Dixie Dew Drops, the best CBD oil products I have ever tried.
BLOZF - Cannabix Technologies Inc.
TWMJF - Canopy Growth Corp.

All of these are real firms with real products and cash flow. I am sure there are myriad others. Anybody know of well managed firms with great products in this industry? I think it is going to grow for many more years.

Pain reliever? If so, CBD oil is the best option. It helped me a lot while painful period after my surgery... I was looking for something powerful, because my pain was terrible. I’ve tried Kratom as well, but only cbd became the most convenient for me. If you are interested in legalization, in depends on the state you live in, the biggest part of them allows the usage of it. Related to safety, it is used also for cats to relieve pain, so I guess it is enough to understand that it’s safe one. I used it firstly on my cat, so it is really very convenient for them as well, I used the best cbd oil for cats as well. It really works! Hope it will help you!

Hey there! I know this post is a bit old, but I stumbled upon it while doing some research on investing in cannabis and hemp stocks. I used to be a bit skeptical about the benefits of CBD oil, but after experiencing some intense back pain myself, I did some research and found that it can be really effective for pain relief. It's great to hear that you've had similar positive experiences with it!

I FOMOed myself with Tilray last year when it looked liked like they might legalize at federal level or at least pass the safe banking part. Really ticked me off when Biden -- whose 1994 crime bill specifically targeted pot smokers -- said he'd release all the people in federal prison for simple possession. Thing is that's literally no one as possession is a state level crime. Having not learned my lesson I then did it again with MindMed (medical LSD) when the 20 year old kid who made 100 million off Bed Bath and Beyond (Jake Freeman) started buying it. Of course, right after I loaded the boat they did a reverse split and then issued new shares. I'm still holding that one but am down something like 75%. Some people just never learn. D'oh!

I'll definitely look into those companies. One article that I found helpful in my research was about an heirloom strain of CBD that's supposed to be particularly effective for pain relief. Here's the link if you want to check it out: https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articl...cbd-for-relief

I'm back in TLRY @ $1.76 because you can't fix stoopid. Seriously though, these guys are the Tesla of weed and price to book ratio is now less than .5 (stoopid cheap).

Next time some cop pulls me over and asks "How did someone like you pay for a car like this?" I'm gonna say, "I bought it with my weed profits."

Here I go again on my own
Going down the only road I've ever known
Like a drifter, I was born to walk alone
And I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time

I averaged down my original $1.76 entry to ~$1.60 and built a sizeable position. Then added some at $1.95 when it pulled back from some profit taking following first run over $2. Looked like it formed a nice base at $2.50 so added again. When that support failed bought more at $2.35 which was my last add. Unless it looks like they're going to decriminalize at federal level (highly unlikely IMHO) I'm going to have to stick with my original plan and only buy ~5% more. If it looks like by some election season miracle they really will legalize though I'm definitely going overweight... that'd make it a rocket ride to da moon fer sure.

Price to book is still just .56 according to Yahoo. I might sell at $5. We'll see!

I blame reefer madness for the humongous pile of cash I've made off Tilray.

I might add my last 5% today...

Those are Bollinger Bands up top and Williams %R on bottom which is just a simplified stochastic oscillator (no fast and slow).

Sold for a 20% gain. As retail investors flee this rigged market the MMs just get more desperate and greedier. I'm out!

I completely understand your concern about not wanting to feel "foggy" with cannabis. CBD oil offers a great solution as it provides the therapeutic benefits without the psychoactive effects of THC. It's definitely worth exploring for those who are looking for natural pain relief options. Actually, it can also help you fight dementia. As for investing in cannabis and hemp stocks, it's an industry that's been gaining a lot of attention lately. I've heard of some of the stocks you mentioned like MJNA, BLOZF, and TWMJF. It's crucial to do thorough research and look for well-managed companies with strong products and a solid track record. With the growing acceptance and legalization of cannabis, there could be some exciting investment opportunities in this sector.

I was in a lot of pain before and immediately after my cancer surgery last year and popped a lot of pills to cope with it. Thanks to legal medical cannabis here in Texas though, I still have a couple of unfinished bottles of opioid pain killers in my cupboard. I'm saving them for my next root canal since dentists wont prescribe them anymore.

As for investing in recreational cannabis, I think state and local governments have over-taxed it. And everything the federal government has done recently is too little and too late. I'm out and staying out.
