190e vs CLK320
It was a cold, dark, gloomy night but thanks to modern technology my car heating kept me warm. Anyway I was driving along minding my biz stopped at a traffic light as you do when it’s red. And this guy pulls up along side me in his clk320. (I don’t know want it is, but some people always think cause newer its faster. blah) I look over to admire the fine lines; the tinted windows and I guess the guy figured I wanted a race. The light turned green and lord and behold as if by magic the CLK floored it, so i gave a chase to till next set of lights.
At this time I knew this guy was up for abit of friendly merc rivalry, you could taste the fuel the in the air, see the condensation from the exhaust, as the tension mounted waiting for the light to turn, it seemed like forever. The light turned green and I put my foot to the ground, looked to my left and I was pulling away from the CLK looked at the rear view mirror and that was that dude was history. After a while he started flashing his lights and lord and behold it was cousin in his CLK .
Also took out an M3 ((E30) now that was fun cause the dude didn’t even know what hit him.
I love the understated look the 190 has (well mine anyway), beautiful simply beautiful.

"i was lost in your prose."
Yeah didn't make any sense at the end there. I'm assuming you were driving the evo II 190e and your mention of a cousin was in reference to the e30 m3 being the same type of car as your's.

Good job, i really like the old 190s. What are the specs on your car? I know the specs on the old EVO were pretty amazing for its time. And what year CLK were you racing? Regardless, good job. You should post some pics of your car on here

I miss my old 2.6. They do have an understated look. I raced a Lexus IS300 once in mine. I stayed dead even with the guy except I was maybe half a car length ahead because I jumped it a little bit. Mine was stock. Damn it, now I want another 190.
