I also nominate you for lamest user name EVAR!
I was at a stop light and was the first car at the line. I looked over to my left and noticed a beautiful white 1998 Lincoln Towncar being driven by a blue-haired Grandma. I noticed her literally standing up in the seat as she looks over and sees my "V8 Kompressor" badge. Then, she gives me the "let's go" signal with her hand. I grip the steering wheel harder and my palms start to sweat as I ready myself for the go light. The light turns green and I made very sure to press lightly on the gas pedal as all 469hp roared to 15mph! She wasn't far behind, although I couldn't tell what she was doing because I couldn't see her head over the steering wheel.
I came upon my turn and pressed on the brakes, because I was almost to 20mph and I started to scare myself. Still, she was right beside me in the lane over making the same hairpin turn into the strip mall. I pulled into the parking lot and flew at an amazing 3mph over two (yes, two!) speed bumps. I looked in my rear and noticed she had given up, parking directly across from the beauty salon. As she stepped out of the car and grabbed her walker from the trunk, she gave me an evil "I'll get you next time" scowl. Haha, maybe next time Grams!
I turned the steering wheel ever-so-slightly to the left and cruised directly into the parking spot. As I sat in my car and went back over the amazing scene that just happened, I could still hear the whine of my V8 Kompressor begging for more! I pushed the Keyless Go button and the car shut down. Phew, what a rush!
My next kill will be tomorrow, when I venture into the crazyness that is, the Best Buy parking lot...stay tuned...

I also felt it funny that elbimmer would tell pimpitcharlie to drive a real car when pimpitcharlie stated that he has a 3 series and a S-class. Nothing wrong with what you drive, elbimmer (C-series), but in my opinion both a 3 series and a S-class are 'real cars'.

i tend to think that the responses in a thread directly reflect the original post. it is hard to interpret how someone is trying to come across in emails and chat forums since you cant see or hear emotions. but taking shots at the people you are trying to get enlightening information from in the original post...let alone asking to not get flamed, is just asking for it imo. i think if you wanted to not be flamed and be enlightened, then you should have asked your question different. ignorant posts produce ignorant responses. flame on.

Im not complaining, and ya i agree that what someone does with their own car is their own bussiness. Then why do you get on others back when they want to rebadge a car? It's that persons car so its none of your bussiness ...right so that agruement is hypocrtical
You peoples' remarks are so condradicting.
And i am not complaining about racing, whereas i hardly ever see a race on the streets. I merely asking whats the thrill. When i read your kill stories, i just dont get it. Do you feel all big and bad that you drove faster then someone, and therefore a better person? In the stories i read on this board, you diss the other driver, bragg about yourself, as if you do find yourself a superior better person.
Again, only in this thread.. you find tards that only post your gay, leave, lame name, none of your bussiness, ***, troll, ETC.

Is that not "racing"? Or is it OK to out accelerate another car as long as you need to merge? The only difference I see is you're not bragging.
"Can't we all just drive along?"
Maybe we can all agree on this:
"Nobody obeys the speed laws all of the time. Everybody has, at one point, raced another car (ask yourself: Have I ever pushed the gas a little harder to get around the a-hole who cut me off, etc.)?
If you are going to race for the sake of racing, preferably head for the track. As far as street racing goes, there are times and places to let your baby "stretch her legs," and there are times not to. Many people cross the line and street race when the danger is very high, which is both stupid and inconsiderate. If you are going to street race, pick and choose your races carefully, with the safety of others in mind. As a general rule, this means do not race in residential or high-traffic areas. Engage brain before accelerator."
Can we agree on that?

Like I said before, the strong, smart, fast competitive men live and act like the alpha males that we are. Just because you are testosterone deficient does not make what we do wrong. And yes, it does make us feel big and bad to win. We are all about flexing our muscle and being true to our nature. You are a small squirrel trying to get a nut. We are an eagle swooping down for the kill. Eagles eat squirrels. And by the way, I second the nomination for the worst name ever. The big question is why some one would complain about street racing but at the same time have a screen name that degrades women. I don’t get it, does it make you feel big and bad and therefore a better person to act or portray yourself as a pimp. Maybe women scare you. As far as the re-badging issue, only a squirrel would do that.

To answer this guys question. The reason people get on the internet and tell their high speed stories could possibly be becasue it a CAR ENTHUSIAST WEBSITE!!!! In case you havent noticed that is what car enthusiasts do. They fix it up clean it up and then rev it up. If you had taken a second to think how dumb that question was you could have saved yourself some humiliation. Website communities are for car people to talk to other car people about everything that concerns their cars, and then some. So racing on the streets just happens to be included. You had to know that you would get
coming in the kill stories section posting some garbage like that so why then would you get offended when you knew ahead of time what would happen. I swear some people have no forsight at all.
As for the comment about me being humiliated, im not humiliated by starting this thread, i still read a few retarted post that make feel im talking to a bunch of idiots
And about my name, again retarted comments, using what you can to try and degrade me. Very sad. oh my god, my name is pimp it charlie, omg you must degrade women.. What a sucky name, and my names better E55AMG, because my names just so original!
Nows my turn to be cruel and mean. Ive read and put up with enough of the **** here, you can put up with mine too. First of all, you old geezers don't know the slang what young guys use. Just like saying "that car is the ****", or "im phat"... the same slang as saying "pimp my ride". Do these comments mean the car is ****?, or that i am fat, or that the ride is a actual pimps car, respectively? So since my name has pimp in it, omg he degrades women! ***** please.
And my views on speeding are not what i view on racing. No, i don't believe they are the same thing. Speeding is one thing, but racing another guy and feeling like you are superior is stupid. Just because you can push harder on a petal makes you better? No, not at all.
i do find it acceptable for guys 16-21 to race, because they are young and thats is a stereotype. But grown men that claim to make half a million, race for sport, sounds a bit immature to me. And the comments i read by you old farts are very immature, coming from some of the most successful men that drive mercedes.

I agree. I think that it is totally fine for someone who has had their license for a matter of weeks to do some street racing. Even though the 16-year-old still can't parallel park, I am sure that he will be just fine in high-speed runs against other cars. I am also confident that those 16-year-olds will use good judgment and only race where it is safe.
You, fine sir, are to be commended for your intellectual prowess.
