Sl Vs. Cop!
so i was ging to get some gas this afternioon in the SL and i decided to get some Frw time in before i get my new fuel pumps put in (Thurs.) i was going 110ish when i see a little white helmet. i take her down to 105 and i look in my rear view merror and the helmet is gone!............but then i look to my left and there it is................ with aviators and all. a CHP. i look down and im going 103. he then turns on his lights and his sirin. im thinking that im totaly ****ed because im only 17 and im going very fast (for an average kid). then all of a sudden he gets on his loud speaker and says " YOU BETTER SLOW DOWN YOU ****N KIDS!!" AND he turns his lights off and he speads away!!!! and all im left with are a messy pair of jeans. (jk).. but im so glad that he did not give me a ticket or even make me pull over!!! i got very lucky!!! i mean how often do cops let RED MBZ CONV go? espicialy with two kids in the car! amazeing!!!

Wow you are one lucky *******. Im 17 as well, and ive gone 105mph in the ML55, heh but not alone, your soo lucky, if he pulled you over, you possibly would have had no lisence for years..

Forgot to add, the Ml55 doesnt feel top heavy to me, it stays pretty much flat through out corners (60-65mph). Drive a Land rover, and you will understand the meaning of top heavy... A turn that I take on a blvrd in brooklyn I can take at 50mph safely, in the ml55 i pushed that same turn at 75 with very little roll.

Well dude I live in Newport too you know, and I dont know ANY CHP's out here in OC that wouldnt looooooove to roll a kid especially going in triple digits also. I dont know man this story sounds too good to be true but what do I know...just get tickets from the cycle cops all the times :shrugs:
