Last weekend I'm on the highway in my CLK55 and I pass three young kids in what was probably their parents Subaru. After I pass (On the left) they get behind me and tail my butt. So of course I had to show them the AMG power. I floored the pedal going around 75-80mph........they never had a chance...before I knew it I was well over 100mph and walking away from them (my girlfriend is yelling at me the whole time....slow down!!!). Of course I had to slow down. Once we caught up to traffic, these clowns move all the way over to the slow vehicle lane on the right (only suppose to be used by semi trucks) and do a retarded fly by...then cut people off in the right lane....all just to get ahead of me.
I found this pic on google of what the car looked like. No mods that I could see. If they didn't illegally pass me I'm sure they never would've had a chance! (also if I was alone in the car!!!)

 

Probably a Legacy, which I think has the WRX motor in it now, and scoots pretty well (but not as well as your 55!). Nice Kill! (you may also wish to post it in the "Tard Kills" thread)

 

I was wondering as well. Not a bad looking car, but without WRX motivation at least, it'd be S-L-O-W. I don't bother with 99% of the ricers.

 

Actually, us Benz owners have it pretty easy. I have to admit, however, as AMG has become more recognized, I have more and more people challenging me. Still, it does not compare to what my friend has to deal with.

My friend owns a WRX Sti that he mainly drives back and forth to work. He has always wanted the car since coming to visit me when I was working in Japan and seeing a friend of mine's.

Well, any time we are on the road, the morons come out. Everyone wants to race and everyone drives dangerously around him to provoke him to race. It sucks for him.

 

I agree.......don't try to be all bad @ss and do stupid ***** to try and pass me just because you desperately want to beat an AMG.

I had an STI "buzz"en around me in traffic ... in and out ... going nowhere ... which is typical for ricers ... all "blow" ... no show ...

Got to a red light ... he's over there ... with a car load of buddies ... reving the motor ... I looked over thinking ... he's got to be kidding ... subaru's look like they're worth only 5 bucks on sale ... I felt ashamed even racing the P.O.S. ...

Well the light turned green and he takes off ... I already had the ESP off and in 4th gear ... power braking ... just enough the motor wouldn't rev loudly ... I spanked the **** out of him ...

Coming to the next red light which was a mile up from the last one where we started ... I was at least a hundred yards ahead of him (120mph) in the race ... and pulling farther away ... when he finally blinked his headlights in defeat ...

At least one car load of STI's have been educated on the letters AMG.

That's the new Legacy GT, 250 hp/tq w/ turbo. 0-60 in the 5.5-5.8 range. I've been seriously considering that car as a second car.

 

I have yet to see an attractive subaru. and now that tribeca thing claims to be the new suv. new is right, the newest ugly alternative to other uglies. edsel comes to mind. the new brat wagon doesnt seem to be redefining things as we know it either.

 

Since they pull Shinanagans to pass people!
