For 100k my enjoyment is thru the f**kn roof and if I want something else that may make me happy, as well, I'll go out and buy that too. Doesn't have to be either or if you can afford it.

I ran a 600 plus hp Cobra in my SL55,and he had me by 1/2 car length for the first half on a quarter, then I pulled him. The only thing I wasn't sure about was that if the guy slowed down, because I past him pretty easy at the higher speeds. There was no traffic in front, and I didn't see a reason for him to slow down. I looked down later and realized that I was in the W mode.
I really wanna run him again in a 55 and not my 65 to clear my conscience, although I believe that the next run will end the mystery and declare me the victor. I have remembered his personalized tag anticipating a future run in my sister-in-laws CLS55. That is the only car that ever led me for any period of time in my 55. The others including bikes were easy kills.

ill pretty much run with anything that steps if conditions are clear. I can usually pull in front of anything, but get taken up top. old vettes, new M3s to be specific. I have pulled from low speed on every M3. I straight beat a boner in a M3 cab with aftermarket (heavy) wheels.
Lose to every WRX. Beat all of the japanese V6 sedans no prob. pull on E36 M3 till late 3rd. beat every 4 banger obviously..
theres no way any normal car could beat even an average bike. Ive had several, and they are insanely fast.

In my '05 E55 I lost to a Z32 Nissan 300ZX with a built motor and upgraded turbines. The guy claimed to be making 700whp and by the way it pulled me, I wouldnt doubt it. Still, its no Benz and no one would give it a second glance.

The car is a true sleeper..... no body mod (not like ricers out there) other than wheels and exhaust.
I think it would be a nice car to toss around... and could definitely kill most (especially stock) AMG's & M's out there. But we'll see how much the owner wants to sell (he still doesn't... but starts to think
).

The other night, I was in traffic near an E46 M3, and was hoping to get the driver to race. We got stopped at a red light, and I thought it might be on. It was three lanes, me in the middle, and him on the right. No, this story is not going where you think it is! On my LEFT, just happened to be a new C6 Corvette. Not a Z06, but I could clearly see the cross-drilled rotors and new headlamp treatment. When the light turned green, the M3 didn't even race! Instead, it was me and the 'vette. He walked away cleanly. I suppose he had better - that many horsies and that much less weight than me
