325i vs 2005 C230 SS
Well to start off, my car is @ the dealer for service and I had a 230 S.S. loaner to play with. My neighbor had just installed his intake in his 4dr 3 series and wanted to run so I obliged. We played around at first and his car seemed to be a bit faster from a roll but my thought was my loaner was just not downshifting to the right gear.
First run from a light I was power braking to get a good launch and I predicted the light wrong so I studder-started and then he got the jump on me and beat me pretty good, now I was kind of pissed and determined.
Second run from the next light I modified my strategy and had an awesome launch and really in these cars the launch is everything because the performance difference up to 100 was really just the different gearing, his 3rd gear was noticably strong, but ended early so he'd gain a little ground from behind and the Komp still had 1500-2000 left in third and kept gaining from there.
We tried several times throughout the night and the kompressor ended out on top everytime except the first 2 tries, which pissed off my friend but it was all in good fun. I don't even think I had him by a car at any point in time he was always right next to me and I could wave to him or start a convo if i wanted. We only attempted late at night off main streets to be safe and to be fair. All in all I'm impressed with both car's though I'm not sure what the 0-60mph or the 1/4 miles are. Even with the pedal to the floor I was still getting better gas mileage than my first car and I was having fun too

0-60 Time = Slow
But its all good though as long as you had fun, thats all that matters. Some times i hate the C and sometimes i love it, especially when there is a lifted truck behind me and i put the rear shade up, and the passenger int he ML next to me laughs their *** off at the truck.

lol that reminds me of a video I saw of a C that put the rear shade up and he had taped "F U" on the back of it for any annoying tail gaters. I always wanted to do that...
