Well, if the M6 is anything like my M3 was, probably wont even cross the finish line without blowing a syncro or hydraulics, or catastrophic engine failure.
If not, money is on the M6. 7 speed isnt it? Can also probably launch better and its lighter by what, 4-500 lbs?

So your saying in the next 30MPH the Murci lost 4 secs on the SL? Bahahahahahahaha. And the mile comes up in around 30.4@169. Some people have even tested the Murci for 11.72@122.53.
To tell you the truth, I'd be willing to take on any 55 or maybe try for a 65 just for kicks. And yes John, this includes your POS.

Ah, gustav the net **** is back, engaging in behavior he bans on m5board...
Gustav's tests are suspect, as he is compensated by BMW for his efforts. Further, they are not scientific, instrumented tests: in races where reaction times alone can vary by nearly 1/2 second, at speeds where 1/2 second can easily amount to car lengths, they are simply not as reliable as true instrumented data. And the instrumented data I've seen for the M5, three road tests so far, have it running mid to upper 12's in the 1/4 mile (400 m).
Autocar tested it at 12.8 @ 119 mph:

An Italian mag got 12.51 @ 191.9 km/h = 119.9 mph:

And lastly, Motor Magazine in Australia tested it this month. Result: 12.54 @ 192.5 km/h = 120.3 mph.

In fact, Australia's Motor Magazine reported that the M5 had numerous difficulties with launch control, was carted away on a flatbed at the end of the test, and could not get consistant times. Check it out, *and* check out the scientifically measured (unlike Gustav's little propaganda pieces) acceleration times for the M5 and CLS55, noting that the M5 only got this on one run, while the rest were far worse:

Whoa, Lexani, Chillax. For one I'd like to see the results, being a BMW enthusiast before being a merc enthusiast, I will definitly enjoy the video, the way I see it, The german brand cars > above all others, and the minor differences in speed dont really matter.
