CLK55 VS 350z....... OWNED!

So i was at a party last night after coming back from our snowboarding trip.
My GF was going to get smashed, so i had to be the designated driver, so i didnt drink. We were there for a few hours, we were going to spend the night but the crowd was getting weird and niether of us felt comfortible sleeping there or leaving my car (wish i took the camry) out with a bunch of drunk/stoned people running around hating on people who own something better than a civic (i hate that ish).

So we leave around 12:45 am or so, and we're dropping off a friend while heading to my place to crash for the night. on our way to dropping off our friend, a 350z cuts me off and flashes his hazards, then he flashes his left blinker and then right blinker, and i turn around and say...Caity..these people want to race...can i just hand thier *** to them, or are you going to puke if i floor it? and shes like...go for it! (for liek the first time ever).
so we're hanging out at the light, i noticed that they have an automatic since they were hanging out at the light with thier brakes on the whole time, and theres two people in the 350Z.
the light turns green, and they punch it. and i just coast to 5 or so mph and then i gradually punch it...
its kinda sad because i reached 100 before they even reached 80, and i was about 3 or.....more like 7 (haha) car lengths infront of them, and gaining more distance.
they were mad for sure.
so then we slow down to 60 mph and they do the 'honk 3 times' thing, and of course they floored it right on the 3rd honk and pulled ahead. then i just punched it and passed them by 5 or so car lengths when i was at 100. then i wa slike 'okay ill stop before we hit somehting, i handed thier *** enough times, and we both wave and take the opposite turns.

so thats my story, hope you enjoyed it.

Nice kill. I hate that "ish" too.

I raced a G35 Sedan one time and took that thing by 2 car lengths. No doubt your CLK55 was going to teach those punks a lesson.

When will they learn??

More proof for my previous assertion that 350Z drivers have a major race-bug up their *****. I think that I am on my fifth 350Z race, which more than doubles any other kind of vehicle. Haven't lost yet, but certainly will when I run up against a tuner or a blower.

So, did your girlfriend hurl? I have a particular interest in this issue.

haha. i owned a g35 coupe, brembo package, nav systm 6speed, the whosle shebam. great cars, but i knew when i could and couldnt take on someone.
i still dont know if they thought they could take me on, or if they were just testing out the waters wondering by how much they'd lose.

I keep telling people...hey if you want to race me.. you better do it with a quick car that can make the jump in the 0-60 and hope you keep pulling, because once i reach 40 mph not much will stop me =, im a rocket. but no one gets it!
(and i choose my races against questionable cars carefully, such as z06 corevettes disquised as regular ones or somehting of that sort)
ah well, the tables always turn, one day ill be like man, they want to race? what are they thinking? and my car will be blown into the weeds before i can say 'wtf just hapend?'

However, also with my non perfected launches, he always gets this 3/4-1 car length lead due to my wheels spining in 1st gear. I can onli begin to pull on him at the end of 2nd gear, the time prior to tha was to make up for the lost of traction. i m very mad, cus i kno i can pull from him from dead stop. ANy recommandation pleassee??

This is what you need (along with some more launch experience, perhaps):

Yeah, I've stopped racing the 350s and G35s unless they are modded because it isn't even a competition. I get like 5 to 7 car lengths in no time.

Should be fine. The 350 engine is a beauty, and has a lot of available torque. Those G35s are too-hyped (don't beleive the hype) and overstated, when it comes to their power.

German engines have more ballz.

actually G35 and 350z engines are almost the same.. weight is the big key.

having owned a G35 sedan, and driven my friends G35 coupe, i can say that if I'm the wrong gear from a rolling start they will get a quick jump. But once the kompressor kicks in, its bye bye.

The c32 really needs more power down lown. Anything under 2000 rpmps, there is as much torque as a regular c320.

Many 350's have tried to mess with me, but they never have really pushed me enough to engage.

Unless the cut me off, pace me, or rev their engine repeatedly I won't waste my gas.

Have you seen the prices here in So CAl?????? 3.10 here in Irvine for 91 Oct

Gas is out of control.

I have paid $3.10 to $3.15 a gallon for 91 octane for the past few tanks, and it is complete bull.

They say that the refineries that were affected by the Hurricanes last year are still down, which is having some impact on prices.

We truly are addicted to oil!!

I saw a Shell station that was charging 3.49 9/10th for a galon of 91 octane. This **** is ridiculous. I've been taking public transportation to work for the past few days... this **** is getting too expensive.

SIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahahahahahahaha. No, but really, gas prices are out of control.

The only believable story of handing the 350z punks their *** would be 32, and 55 AMG owners on this board. It is hard to believe that a CLK320 owner can possibly beat a 350Z @ 285HP. No offense but I have to discredit all CLK320, CLK420, and none 32 and 55 AMG owner's story of how they whooped a 350Z, G35 Coupe, or a even more unblievable STi kill story.

I personally would invite all the none AMG owners to run with me in your choice of my 2005 C55 Stage 2 Mod, or my full blown modded 2004 Subaru STi for pink slip.

So for the love of god.. No more I handed a STi their *** story from none AMG owners.

A suggestion (my intent is not to insult your "English"): If you want to refer to people who do not own AMGs, you say "non-AMG-owners"

I had to read your post three times to figure out when you meant when saying "none AMG owners"

None means "lack of"
Non means "not"

A seemingly trivial, but crucial, distinction, one which most of us learned in eleventh grade (and you will, presumably, learn next year).

Back to the apparent substance of your post. . . Are you saying that there is no non-AMG Benz which can whip an STi?

Ever driven an SL600?

*snicker* *snicker* Nice one Vomit, hahahaha.

You want to race non-AMG cars against a stage 2 c55, or a fully modded Sti? Havent you heard of the saying, 'pick on someone your own size?' I hope you dont go driving around hoping to race civics and integras... I on the other hand only 'race' cars that im not sure about and would be happy to see the results either way. but if you offer something like racing a stage 2 c55 or a fully modded Sti (whatever that means) then i offer you this, on a totally different spectrum. I race you with a car of your choice down a slolam, or autocross track in either my CLK55 (which im very familiar with on handling) or my 1991 acura integra. yes the interga isnt as fast. but i have to tell you, it handles better than my 55 (its not just another bolt on rice rocket either, you have to give it some credit...i should start another thread on it.....).

and while we are offering such events like sumo wrestler vs the 3 ft midget, i offer you this as well; How bout a SL65 against your C55? that sounds pretty fair to me......no?

I issued a challenge to non AMG owners on this board with unbelivable stories of their heavily mismatched kills. Vomit, I appreciate your quick lesson and I am sure it will carry me pretty far. I know my grammar sucks because I've only lived in the US for four years. There is no shame to admit one's imperfection but it is cruel to deceive thy self with unbelivable non AMG (C,E,ML) class beating a car with more HP on straightways kill story.

Very good, young Skywalker. In just one day, you went from psychobabble to clearly expressing yourself.

It's all in good fun. As I've said many times before, this is a tough forum, with alot of jokers , holes , and tards . Of course, I do not consider myself to be any of those.
