Ok, I'm not into racing but yesterday I was going to see my brother about 80miles away so I'm crusing my stock s500 at 70 and I see this camaro ridding my tail off and he would pull so close to me I think to insight me. So I hit the gas and run to about 90. I knew he would come for a kill pass so I waited on him. I also know that my car has nothing on this SS but it's not how fast you race but how smart you do it. At 90 he comes at me for a kill pass and I gun it to 110 and he never passes me. I slow down to 100 and he tries again for a kill pass. We run side by side at 110 and then I start slowly pulling away like 1 or 2 car lengths. I go from 110 to about 130 since I know thats all my car can give me (damn that limiter) and I knew that if he knows this he would kill me, I keep it at 130 and he was slowly closing in at about 7 car lenghts for about 3 miles. I exit before he could catch me and I kill. I'm like 4300 lbs being chased by a lighter probably faster car but for 3 miles am ahead of the game by about 7 car lenghts so I now I killed him. Thank God for the exit which also turns out to be my exit.

I just wonder if he was racing you or simply trying to overtake you. He probably was thinking, "This MB snob wont let me pass!"

I've been caught on the side of the Camaro SS. You approach a car moving slower than you in the fast lane. You go to pass, then they speed up. You go back to the fast lane. They slow down. You go to pass again, and they speed up. It's the sort of stuff that causes road rage. If he was 'playing' too then it's cool.

It would be kill if that fool souped a regular v6 Camaro with the SS body kit and decal. There are a lot of FAUX vehicles on the road. i.e. a v6 mustang with a Saleen or Cobra bodykit.

It was probably a V6 with body kit and badges. My friend has a stock Z28 and from a roll its not very fast and the spedo stops at 110mph which has been reached and passed many a time.
