What's your best story about getting pulled over? Post it here.
Last year, I started a thread asking for people to post their best speeding ticket story. The response was great and the speeding ticket stories ranged from interesting, to funny, to downright scary.
This time I am expanding it to being pulled over for anything... So, what's your best story about getting pulled over by the law?
Whether you talked your way out of a speeding ticket, got one doing 150, talked you way out of a more serious offense, or have another good story, about being pulled over, post it here.
In 1987, I was pulled over in my RX7 Turbo II doing 127 in a 45....by three cop cars.
A few years later, a cop followed me in my Ferrari Mondial convertible for about three miles. I used my turn signals, never exceeded the speed limit, etc., etc... He pulled me over, walked up to to me and said, "You didn't do anything wrong, I was just admiring your car. Is this the new Fiero?"
After not having gotten a ticket in years, I got a ticket doing ten miles over the limit on the way home after buying my CL. I must be getting old.
I know you guys must have better stories than that.

I got pulled over the 2nd day i got my 06 zo6 (505 hp) but my dad is a wellknown buisness man in the community and he knew the cop so he let me go, nothing to interesting but it still got of a 83 in a 55.

When I had my Jetta TDI, I got pulled over for doing 96 in a 50. The PO was an elderly woman. ( kinda like aunt bee from the andy griffith show )
Anyway I appalogized and told her I was running late for work but I had to go see my preschool aged daughter because she got bit. ( this was all true ) She saw my FAA badge and said " OK just slow down."
I thanked her and went on my way.

oh wow i love the zo6, i raced my brother in his gallardo and it kicked his ***, personally 75k is nothing for such performance, its an absolutly amazing car, i highly suggest getting one if you can find it

I'm really impressed with the Z06's performance figures. I've driven the new C6 Standard Corvette with the normal engine (not the Z06 version) and I thought it was great in every way except for the interior styling. Unfortunately, I didn't really get to obtain a feel for the handling, which is the most important factor to me when buying a car.
How would you say your Z06 handles compared to a Gallardo? My favorite roads are windy mountain roads with ups and downs even when you're turning.
The last thing that upsets me is the fact that Corvette doesn't make a sequential manual gearbox. To be honest, I'm not terribly fond of driving a stickshift in such a "sleeper" car.

the zo6 and the gallardo, they both have suprisingly similar handling, but the zo6 was designed SPECIFICALLY for track use so the ride is rough but i love the rough feeling, but every time you go over a bump it feels like you broke your back, personally i like that it keeps you more in tune to the drive. But over all for handling id probably go with the zo6 since they designed it for track use only and the car handles amazing, dont get me wrong the gallardo handles amazing but the corvette can corner like no other. But the gallardo you can drive with your finger tips, its more of a finess drive. But as for shifting, compared to the gallardo the corvette has a sledge hammer shift, the gallardo a small breeze will get it into another gear.

17th birthday present....and you haven't gotten speeding ticket after speeding ticket? Given my tendency toward traffic tickets when I was younger, I think I quickly would have ended in jail with a 500hp monster like that at 17 (or 25, for that matter...).

trust me, if i got caught doing somethings i did in that car i would be in prison lol, i hit 189 with. But i dont abuse the car at all just use it to all its potential. I plant on taking it easy for awhile though, of i hope to

a undercover cop was fking hiding . once he saw us he came and chase after us. we where going about 80km/h
then i just turn into some street and hid out for a bit.
next thing that happends was that my friends got pulled over. so i turn again and hid . then another cop pulls my over, but had no evidence it was me street racing . so they had to let me go ..
my friends got licince suspended for 2 month .

Second day I had the '05 E55, i came flying over a hill practically airborne and there was a cop right at the bottom of the hill. He just hit his lights and I pulled right over to him. He tagged me for a 76 in a 35. SUCKED!! Trashed my perfect record.

I'm waiting for something cool like in those .. cough movies... where some hot blonde pulls me over and.. oh you guys know the rest.

That reminds me of a comedy bit I heard years back regarding what NOT to say to the female cop who pulls you over. The funniest line was something like "Hey, that's a nice nightstick. How would you like to see something larger?"
