I've been building and tuning cars for years man, my Supra is a work of art with well over 100k in it , and its engine puts out over 1,000 ponies to the rear wheels with C16 in the tank (the rwhp figure in my sig is on 92 octane, the very first day we fired up the new engine). No GTO, nada, zip, zero, is gonna touch it.

You're comparing an engineering masterpiece, a car that has been revered for a decade as the best Japanese car ever built, to a car with a production run of a few years that is soon to be extinct due to complete lack of public interest.

And BTW: I just looked up timeslips for blown GTO's- Dragtimes.com states that a 600whp blown GTO ran an 11.344 @ 130 with a 1.9 60ft. time. Not, I repeat, not very impressive.
I thought the Skyline was given the title of the best Japanese automobile ever. What is your best time in that Supra? I actually like that it's not insanely modified like those extreme widebody ones, this one looks like it can driven hard on a road, not just softly into a SEMA booth.

Ahhh some guys are in the Skyline camp, but those things are hell to modify, because when you go over 500hp (which the supra can do on a stock fuel system and stock turbos) the transmission needs to be REPLACED with something more akin to a full dog box, and I don't know if you know how to rev match and double clutch, but its not fun on everyday roads. Maybe I should have said the best Japanese car ever available in the US.

Thanks for your compliments on the look of the car, all I've done to the exterior is the CF hood, which I painted, the CF RMM wing which most people consider the wing that should have just come with the car, and I have a CF front splitter that is sitting in my basement. I can basically drive the thing everyday, as the clutch is a carbon/carbon unit that will both handle over 1000hp and slip all day long (carbon clutches actually get grippier as they get hotter, the inverse of what organic/metal clutches do). But alas I don't really drive it b/c no TC=Me in a wall if I hit a bump.

If you did, in fact, stay even it was because A. The driver doesn't know what a "power band" is or B. It wasn't broken in and he had it in P400.

I see a GTO, I smoke a GTO. I see a C6, I smoke a C6. There's not much that can touch this thing, and the only American badges I'm afraid of are SRT/10 and Z06.
Smoke a C6? Hardly. Beat, yes(stock only).

You're numerous posts make very little sense. You're "stock only" reference is superfluous and I agree with Cylinder that a C6 isn't keeping up with an E60 M5. Not to mention the fact the M5 has more than one string to its bow.

Why are these people that are so in love with the GTOs' and C6s' in a MB forum? Cant a man just post a kill, get some props, and move on?

I just dont get it You dont see us going over to the "budget domestics" room and causing a fuss do you? Its just like when you are on the nice side of town trying to enjoy a moment, and some skank in a camaro with flowmasters comes "kid rockin" it down the road and F#cking up your chi. lol.

Mad props to Yellow R1 for fending off the trolls er.. "kid rocks" and keeping your cool.

And why does this Exodus guy keep talking about blowing goats???
