NJ State Trooper
Entering NJ from NY rt17S to Franklin Lakes Exit on i287S
Est. Time: 3 mins
Est. Ave. Speed: 137mph
9:47am 7-**-06
Im comming around the 4 lane branch of highway connecting to the above mentioned roadways together at the above mentioned time. I'm in the left lane consistantly passing cars on the right of me. The speed limit is 55mph and im traveling at around 85mph (give or take a few mph). Suddenly, once im in the middle of the bend I am face to face with a NJ State Trooper Cruiser Parked in the grass medium behind a bush just itching to pull someone over and fill his summer quota. I continue pass him, speed unregulated. As he comes into focus in my rear-view I can see his reverse and roof lights and his wheels begin to move twards the highway. I am in no mood to get pulled over as it would certainly land me in a more constraining position than the regular outcome of getting a simple speeding ticket. I quickly accelerate and begin to manuver through the traffic in the alternating lanes ahead of me. As i travel at a solid 120mph I begin to realize that the cars in front of me are slowly melting into a gelotinous glob of shining metal and red taillights. I immediately pull into the right hand shoulder. At this point I can see miles ahead of me and have clear ground. As I push my v8 engine harder than ive ever pushed before. As I look breifly at the speedometer, 148... look down agian pushing the pedal, 152... As i look up I begin to make out what looksl like the next exit off the highway (Franklin Lakes). As I controll my deceleration I merge in front of a large fish truck and enter the off ramp. Almost in disbelief of the fact that I "made it", I proceed to pull the car into a private housing development (the biggest maze i coudl find) and found a safe place. I put the car in park, unbuckled my seatbelt, and turned it off.
The last time I looked back to see the cops progression was before i pulled on the shoulder. I never looked back afterwards. I'm just happy I made it home in one piece.

That's scary. My heart would have been racing thinking I'd be toast if he radio'd ahead to one of his buddies.
I always thought the cop package was fast, but I heard recently that the Crown Vic police pack still only has a 225hp V8 or thereabouts.

Now that I have that out of the way...
Very nicely written story! You had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Do much creative writing in your spare time?

things with and without wheels
Standard police package for police cars around here is very simple;
bigger brakes
bigger tires
transmission cooler
power steering cooler
engine oil cooler
high output alternator for the added electronics
cops will mod their personal cars not city or state owned cars.
Other states have interceptors with high hp engines and weight reduction.

It was a split second decition that had to be made and i'm glad I made it. Everyone's safe, i'm still driving, and i have an awesome kill story.
Now obvously pulling someone over for exceeding the speedlimit by 30mph is certainly justified but it was the way that he was sitting all sly behind a bush and what not. Sneaky *******.
On another note, thanks for enjoing the way in which i wrote the story. I just threw that one together for the thread; didn't even go over/proof-read it. I'm sure there's oodles wrong with it.
I used to do a bunch of writing but havn't in a while.

EFF YOU JACKIE
Makes no difference, if the story is true the trooper had his plate prior to moving his cruiser. Knock knock jackass.
Honestly it is the irresponsibility of driver like you that cause innocent injuries and deaths. Seriously not impressed with your "story".

Um, in light of this... Disable Your Sig Pic RIGHT NOW until you redo it with your license plate blurred out! (I'm writing it down right now; for leverage if I ever need it
)

Disclaimer:
The point of the story is not to impress you or brag about it. I know it was not safe and don't encourage that behavior. The point was to share the story because it was so rediculous, that is all.
