slow car... why waste $1 mill on a car that can be beat by a Neon SRT-4 with NOS and a bigger turbo and various other bolt ons for under $50K not to mention the Neon could out handle that pig on a track with stock suspension.

How fast is the Veyron?
If you line up a Veyron next to a McLaren F1 - the F1 takes off with the Bugatti not starting until the F1 reaches 120mph - the Bugatti would beat the McLaren to 200mph.
Now THAT is fast.
Basically the Veyron's 0-200 mph time is faster than the McLaren F1's 120-200mph time.
Not to mention 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.

Yea so if I had $1 million to burn I would not buy something that ugly. Its like the M5 no matter how fast it is, it still can not overcome how ugly it is.
About the Neon I am joking but seriously if you spent $50 k on a Neon it will kill this bug.

I've seen the car launch... it sounded like Armageddon was upon us.
I'm sorry I have to call BS on the Neon beating this thing. A neon couldn't dream of touching a McLaren F1, nevermind the Veyron.
Personally, I like the ME-412 but carry on...

The SRT4 Obviously wasnt racing and had a boost leak....
Im sorry but i dont like the bugatti one bit. It doesnt really make a noise, and its ugly as hell.

The Bugattis 0-300 kph time is app 16-17 sec, and the Mclaren F1 does it in app 20 - 21 sec.
But yes the Veyron is totaly insane.
Topp speed is a bit more than 400 kph in the Veyron and the F1 will top out at 390 kph.
Id like to see the Neon capable of beating the Veyron in straight line speed and then continue to beat it on a road course.
I do not like the Veyron, but is is an fantastic peace of machinery.
I much rather drive the F1 though. 1100 kg, 627 NA horsepower.
That must be fun as hell.

Just think about a mini cooper vs a dodge viper, if they both had the same power to weight ratio the mini cooper would out handle the viper, but add more power to the cooper and the advantage goes away because of the dynamics of the car.

I am serious about this if you pulled the veyrons power so it was even with the dodge neon(power to weight wise not matching hp to hp) the neon would beat it in a road course. Just about any sports car will be out handled by a small car. The only problem is the smaller cars dynamics can not handle higher HP and higher speed so you must move into a balance of speed handling which sports cars do.

Surely you must be joking. A Neon....and I don't care what version it is, is a piece of junk. Disposable transportation. Period. End of story. The useless SRT versions are constantly trying to race me, and I have made mince meat out of them on straight roads, road courses and mountain roads. Most of them know their place and are just trying to have fun...but I think that you are serious.

But yes a Neon SRT-4 has good handling for its price class.
