-We all know a lot of people that have bikes, and not as many of them as we may think can make their bike accelerate to the claims of the manufacturer or super bike magazine especially from a stop. It seems like it takes a while to get comfortable enough to rock it like the guys do on TV. I have spanked a street bike or two from a stop before in my C5 6mt before I totaled it. I also spanked one before I sold my 993 a few months back.
Should this happen? Probably not. Does this happen? Every day. Maybe it was a little too wet, cold, or hot. Maybe their bike was slow or there was too much traffic and the they just didn’t feel like wasting gas. Maybe the bikes needed a tune really bad. Maybe the rider had a prosthetic foot that was malfunctioning. Or maybe he just sucked. Not everyone can ride like Rossi, or Hayden!
