Hey guys, I just need to share this with you guys.
On the way home, There was this seem to be "hooked up" 98ish altima (I was behind this guy) and waiting at the red light, this 2002+ VW GLI (body kit, seem to have some loud rice can exhaust) comes on the service side and revvs his stupid car at me and the altima.
So green light comes, the GLI guns it and passes the altima, and I floor it, cut to the left lane, I fly pass the altima, and then pass the GLI at about under 50mph, and then next block is another red.
So....heres how it goes. this guy rolls down his window, and was like "what is that a baby cheep *** civic mercedes" im like "yeah it is, and yours is a jetta? a family car? wheres your mom?" so this guy goes, "yeah i'll dust your cheap *** car, bla bla bla" and he "revvs" his can up at me. and I keep it silent.
So green light comes, I wait till he guns it, and I gun it, then I slow down the throttle while i'm next to him, (he had his window opened and car floored) so i roll down my window, gave him the finger, and floored it, and my coupey just FLEW. DUSTED HIM SO BAD
a few blocks down, another red light, this guy doesnt even dare to look over. and i revv my car up at him. and hes just looking foward with his window closed.

I’m gonna need some more details to figure this one out. I’m assuming you raced this guy in you’re CL203, since the other two cars listed in your tag wouldn’t be a coupe and you said you’re: “coupey just flew”.
Now I’m not a super Mercedes buff, but I’ve never heard of a CL203. So I poked around on the net and found that it’s actually a C200, which from everything I can find is a European version of the W203. Is your car an import? Your location is listed as NYC.
I couldn’t find too much information on specs on a C200, so I went with a C230 coupe for comparison. Also what year is your car?
Now your original post states you went up against a 2002+ Jetta GLI. I had never heard of a GLI and thought you meant a GTI. A GTI most definitely would have given you a good run. So I did some research. Turns out the GLI Jetta first came out in 2002, and for 2002/2003 was only offered as the VR6 variant, again which would not have been killed so easily.
Now the 2004+ GLI did offer a turboed 4 banger w/180hp and depending on your setup that would have been a good win for you. But to be able to first take the guy out starting from 1 car length behind (the 1st light in your story) and then to still walk on him while throttling back (the 2nd light), I just don’t know about that.
I only bring this up because I tried taking on a 2006 2.0T Jetta in my 2005 C230K Sedan with less than favorable results. I love reading story’s about the little C’s that could, I also love reading about punks getting their a$$es handed to them. Unfortunately this one might be too good to be true. Please provide some more details and more power to you if you really did take this guy out!

Yeah I can't understand half this stuff this kid writes...
Anyway, thanks for the education on CL203. I'd did not realize there was a 3.2L engine for it and now I find your story believable.

that's not the first time I've heard the C-Class being called the "civic of MB" (I actually heard it from an Infiniti G20 owner, ironic isn't it?) it's pretty annoying.

That is pretty funny. Good kill, but I do have a bit of trouble with your winning, while throttling back. My 2.3L C230 Coupe needs ALL the help it can get off the line, and at low gears. Where the car shines is up over 50 mph. I have raced 320 cars. Its a battle, but up top a pullied M111 will rock a 320.
