K2 E55 Wagon Kills C6 Corvette
Light turns green, I take off in my normal grandma speed. The corvette then speeds up, sling shots from behind me to the left, behind the car in the middle lane (which was about 1/4 of a car length behind me) and goes to the left lane. The car that originally was in the left lane at the light was no where to be found. The C6 driver abruptly slows down and the guy is LOOKING AT ME. He floors it and by the time I react he is about 1 car length ahead. It did not take me long, I mean it was quick, for me to catch and pass him. I then slowed down. When I do, he catches up, slows down and then punches it. He is this time again about 1 car lenght in front of me before I floor it. I catch and pass him, very quickly. When I am 1 to 1 1/2 car lengths ahead and stretching the lead at a good pace (and I do mean at a good pace), I decide to shut down. He catches up. I give him a thumbs up. He gives me a nod and then speeds away. It is at this time that I noticed his license plate. It is not personalized but has those numbers and letters which is easy to remember.
From the time he slung around me to the end, I say it took all of about 10 seconds or less. It was a quickie run, on a clear 3 lane road.
I love this wagon!!!!
I did damn good, best was me holding by 3/4 of a car length from 30-140 w/bad traction, 2nd best was 2 car lengths where I held right there from 65-130-140 kilometers of coarse
...Camera angle doesn't show I'm right there the whole way up to 140ish, which Vadim doesn't deny, ask him.Look at my headlights on the ground, you can see I'm right there on those 2 races.
Other races 2 & 3, you can hear my engine bouncing/stalling off limitter.
You act like I got destroyed?
3/4 of a length on last race, VERY CLOSE RACE...The other 2 were very traction limited (I loose traction on cold nights/roads up to 65-70 mph easily) also had a tuner remove torque management, then I manually shifted, really ***'d up! (my bad) Not to shaby from a roll w/a deficit of 100+ rwhp 100+rwto... get your facts straight, I'm getting a full tune and new meats for a rematch will see how I do then
All in all, what I'm trying to say is it wasn't a massacre like your insinuating

Also put into perspective the E55k, gets anywhere from 11.85 @ 118 - 12.50 @ 114 damned rocket
read Vadims comments on my traction problems??Also look at races 1 & 4 again Very close..Especially last one (4)
Vette CAI, cat back (borla, i believe) and tq management removal
the first 2 are from 55-65 to 140 or so
the last 2 are from 30-130 or so
all in kph, of course
the vette had traction issues, the last run was the best, we got nearly identical launches and doesnt look like traction was an issue
SORRY FOR THE WACK CAMERA WORK, I WAS TRYING NOT TO CRASH

Go look, the rest of those links for times listed they are there, I'm bored w/this...
You get the idea the REST ARE BS including housofclass, he's trapping 119-120 stock?? yeah right that's K1- K2 car territory.
Second off, amg_55 is a mod on that forum? Oh God, that's proof that internet forums need to be regulated.
Please tell me you are kidding? I mean, after all...you accused me of quoting modified E55k figures as stock and now you are quoting them stock for your gain? I mean, after all.....you are talking about stock E55K's because you are quoting how fast they are since you raced a "stock" one. Right?
let me quote your quote:
First off, your C6 is one of best looking I've seen. Trust me, I'm in Texas...I have seen a lot.

Yes some of those other Dragtimes 11's were done w/filter mods, drag radials, NOS etc..
I just thru this latest time 11.85 up there because someone else just duplicated it in Florida area. Yes there's no doubt in my mind they run average dirt low 12's to 12.50's

I don't know what the intake, exhaust mods netted me (Usually little if anything for CAI, you need to be @ speed to measure any gains from those, cat-back usually nill) just know my latest dyno had me @ 360 rwhp 365rwto after multiple runs in 90+ Degrees, tuner said we could easily get 365+ if we let her cool down or ran in the morning.
I'm figuring after a complete dyno tune I could easily fetch another 25-30 in cooler weather bumping me up to 390's
I'll let you guys know, and post the dyno after I get it tunedLast edited by Thericker; Apr 11, 2007 at 03:57 PM.

Sean,
It does matter what the score were (like in any sport), a lost is a lost but anyway, I was just kidding with you. Sean, why would you not supercharged your C6 yet? I know you made a dump mistake with HPS system on your Mercedes (so did i
)) but don't let that scare you with the C6. Happy motoring my friend.

Damn that'd **** me off having to mod to beat/be even w/base C6

I can't imagine how crappy it'd feel to loose to a station wagon, if I ever see an AMG 55k wagon you'd better believe I'll hide from it. I know I lost to a 4 door sedan E55k, but to on lookers the station wagon AMG is the ultimate sleeper

Oh, did I disclose that my K2 wagon also has the VRUS 80mm TB, CF Box - with ITG filters and, as of today, the Johnson IC pump in place of the stock pump.
Then, in 1 month I will be installing the Kleeman LSD and after that either Kleeman's exhaust or VRUS's (if it is available by then). Finally, to save weight, I will then repalce the stock rims with the same exact size with the lighter BBS RS-GT rims (that should reduce wight by 19 lbs at each corner). You are correct it was not a fair race. You, I and others on the forum know that ..................but not that C6 owner.

I think I am going off topic here
