...ok, coming home tonight on a street that a lot of cars love to open up and stretch their legs...

I'm driving the speed limit in the Lexus w/the family---chill'n...

getting close to a red light, what I think is a '69 Chevy Chevelle 'SS goes flying by me and then avoids a Mini cooper and barely gets in front of a Benz Wagon....now we are all at the traffice light--mini cooper (left lane), Chevy SS (right lane), Benz Wagon (behind Chevy) and me (to the left of the Benz)...

I notice the 'famous' quad exhaust trademark on the Benz E wagon and quickly tell my wife it's an E55 (unmarked and clean--silver w/deep dish wheels)...I see the guy in the E55 throw his hands up 'like--what the F*'

light turns green--the Chevy takes off and gets in the left lane in front of the mini coop...then, next light turns red....I begin to get excited because I have a feeling the guy in the E55 wagon is still heated about being cut off...

(I'm anticipating a showdown)...Chevy is revving his motor---modded w/nice sounding exhaust...guy in the E55 wagon looks at the guy in the Chevy and sarcastically shakes his head

light finally turns green, the Chevy hits it hard and the E55 gradually hits it, then a nice rumble is heard and the wagon is gone!!! Driver of wagon waves bye-bye and makes it through the next traffic light...we are all stuck at the next light--even the Chevy!! Damn that was poetry... I wonder if the owner of the E55 is a member....Nice ride my brotha

great vid!! I know that fwy very well....they were heading North bound on the I5 fwy (from San Diego)....great stretch of road to run!!! It's still amazing to see a 'wagon' do damage!!! LOL...

Why wouldn't you take them seriously? Exactly the same hardware.

I remember in Europe when I'd just picked up my M3 CSL. A guy in an Audi RS6Plus (telltale gunmetal wheels and dechromed finish-480bhp AWD!) pulled up next to me at a stoplight and before I could get traction in the wet he was long gone. 480bhp wagons are not to be messed with and can humble exotics like there's no tomorrow
