Nissan makes the best Japanese cars, like the Nissan Skyline. The 350z is an awesome car that has potential to be extremely powerful machine without hurting your wallet. Its not my fault your blind. There was a study done in Germany not too long ago that germans preferred Japanese cars (Mostly Nissan) to german. Price, fuel, etc..

No flame war here mercedes...i agree...skyline and nsx are real sports cars, but i think the 350z is a legend in its own. The Z car has been one of the best japanese sports cars in the last 20 years. Included in that is the SUPRA. NSX is nice, but for 65k, it should have been a v8...hee hee.

Fast Eddy

I am not sure where the guy got the 350z late last year. There is a chance that I could have misunderstood him and probably did. I admit, my heart was pounding pretty fast.

What a weird thread this is. Anyways, good kill. Im sure the E55 can take out the new 350Z. The Z is a nice car thou. Very nice design. Interior is nice too! For the price I think its a good car. Also, I dont think Nissans are POS. That was a bit harsh. I like them. I had a 95 Nissan 240SX back in college and it was a lot of fun. My friend has the red 300ZX TT who posts in here sometimes and his car is dope! That thing is soooooo fast. I love the sound of his turbos and his BOVs.

As the owner of an elderly Merc, I'm glad to see someone taught one of those 350s a lesson. I had one a while ago that kept prodding me to race, and when my temper kicked in and I floored it, so did he, leaving me in the dust. Needless to say, I have a "spot" in my heart for those cars. By the by, the Nissan 350Z was slated for a 2002 release, however, due to electrical and a couple of mechanical problems discovered prior to delivery ALL 350Zs were held back. However, no matter what, they were to be listed under the 2003 model year. My boss has one, a very nice one which was ordered early on, and he had to wait because of the issues.

The Z was always stated to be a 2003 model. At most he could have hoped for a June release.

I remember all the info about the Z started popping up around April of 2003 that translates into a 2003 release.
