raced last night, beat the three cars I was up against, but none were kill worthy, two ricers and diesel truck. Actually, the diesel truck made me the most nervous, because the Dodge Diesel before him with a lift kit and twin semi exhaust stacks ran a 12.2...that is some sick sh*t. They have some kind of line lock, load their torque converter to what sounds like about 4k, smoke pouring our of the stacks, and then launch with all four wheels spinning running through the traps at around 111. But I digress. My best run was a 12.458, so a new best, but at a lower trap - 113.39. That run had a 1.92 60 ft time. Also, my next two runs were no good, 12.61's, one with a 1500 rpm launch leading to a 2.01 60ft (my worst yet) and one off idle which did not help much. Can't figure out why they were both slower times using such different techniques...

1.92 is very good for stock tires. You are likely gonna need to get a set of BFG to drop the 60 ft time to 1.7 ish. It will also give you a better chance in poor track condition. car is definately tricky to launch , not so much cause of spin but a "hesitant" ecu. You may want to order the 250 dollar sprint booster for AMG . This seems to help cure the delay. Power braking just seems to add trouble but if you can do it without hindering throttle take it to the point the wheels are just about to spin. My car bogs so its easier to roll into the light then hammer.so a gentle left foot lift on the second yellow , a half depress , then punch the kick down button and hold. Did you run in Dyno mode?

12.45@113 is dam good on stockers. we need your 60 ft down around 1.7-1.9 everytime :-).. I rarely hit 1.7 but man it feels great when you do.

I know all about those diesel trucks, they drown you all the way down the track, been suprised by more than one. Hey send me your best slip so I can keep posting em in the other thread.

We are going 9/21/2007 but no way will we see records as the track is a bit high , hope I can hit 12.9 LOL. Being in California sucks unless you drive north to SACRAMNETO.

Thanks Kostas86. Juice - No, I didn't run in Dyno Mode. I actually just ran in D in S mode, I didn't even manually select first. My tranny was acting a little funny on the way to the track when I selected 1st, so I thought I'd just let the computer do the shifting. I figure the tenth or two I might get in dyno mode will be outweighed by the wheelspin factor slowing me down. I do run with trac off of course, suspension in comfort mode.
